Up in tamworth at the moment, driving to Sydney over the weekend though.

Hey guys, Pretty much as the title spells it out, I get two random turbo noises from my car. One occurs under hard acceleration and it sounds a bit like it's rubbing, it comes on instantly then backs off straight away but it's a funny twangy sound to the normally smooth whine. The other, which I have a video of occurs when the throttle is released after accelerating. Sounds as if the turbo whines up and then down and it gets noticeably louder, try to listen in the vid when I come off the power... Is this normal? Cheers Nick

Spotted a white or silver C34 about 15km outside of tamworth on the New England Highway this arvo, Gave me a wave, caught it at the last minute.

Made it back to Sydney without turning the car off Anyway I checked the terminals again on the battery, turns out they were both loose, so i took them off and gave them a bit of a scrub with a wire brush put them back on and all seems fine *touches some wood* Starts as normal, and there's no beeping any more. Thanks for the input guys, I'll not the volts before and just after start in a sec. I'll have to get in and have a look at what is actually making the beeping when I get back to Sydney, driving down from tamworth today so fingers crossed it causes me no issues on the way down. On another note are there any stagea cruises happening in the next 3 weeks?

Battery is supposedly only 3-4 months old. And if it's anything to go by the volt meter is saying 14v, exactly where it has been since I bought it. Hmm Apologies for the mistakes, on the trusty iPhone in the car!

G'day, Just after some thoughts on a random beeping I'm getting from behind/under the steering wheel. I walked out to the car, put some stuff in the boot then went to the front to get in and there was no electrics at all. Popped the bonnet and found that the earth lead to the battery was loose, cleaned it out and out it back on. As soon as I did that low and behold the electrics came on, and this beeping noise from under the dash. All my trip computers settings, clock etc have reset. When I start the car the beeping stops when the ignition is on, and then, about 5 seconds after it's started Theres one longer beep and all seems normal. The beeping is three short beeps at 3 second intervals. It keeps going even if the car is locked... Any ideas? Cheers Nick

Spotted another silver M35 in Tamworth a number of times in the last weeks. My mates keep asking me what I was doing in town, mistaking it for me! Is it anyone on here?

So what oil should I be using? Just joking, seen the rabble that question raises Believe me, I'd love to DIY but I'm busy with a pretty difficult course for the next six months and don't have stacks of spare time. CAn one find an English service manual anywhere?

G'day, I recently moved to Tamworth, can anyone recommend a mechanic that's knows anything about M35's? It's due for a service in the next few months and I don't just want the work done, but would like to get an idea of how things are looking mechanically, future servicing/costs etc. Cheers Nick

spotted a silver m35 northbound on the F3 yesterday arvo, then my mate spotted a red c34 with plates ST46EA

Spotted a really tidy Blue M35 parked in the back streets of manly today. Also a silver 260RS out in mortdale on the side of the road.

No side stripes... there is a nismo sticker I'm yet to get around to removing , a MINES one just on the other side too... haha

G'day, I bought this jl audio XD200/2 amp for $268 from JB Hi-Fi earlier in the week on bad advice after I was told my old amp was broken. Turns out it was not and it was an issue else where in the audio system. It was installed in the car for less than 24hours and put back in the box.
