  1. i had the same problem i think you need new rings possibly ring lands too
  2. Tom im not fighting anything. This is my car, not sst's. I have a huge respect for sst. i hold them in the highest regard. this is my opinion, this only matters to me as you can form your own opinion. as you have. people can take on board what i have to say and make up their own mind. I dont care what people say about me and what i have done. the simple fact in life if you pander to everyone you meet, who are you living for. be more selfish and do something for your self. (this is my opinion) Forums are opinion based, its a matter for all users to sort the wheat from the chaff. there are some very smart people here and it is a well used resource but fighting it out like we are here is not helping anything. some things i have noticed are. 1. People are all to happy to ask questions of me and when i ask 1 back i get nothing. 2. it amazes me in some parts of this forum Dyno Dynamics shoot out mode is praised, we have now run 438rwhp in shoot out mode and we have tampered with the dyno, or lying about something. 3. i thought Paul was talking up the "tall poppy syndrome" he endured last year at pass when he made 435ish. sydneykid can you please tell us some of your secrects from your race car team. you must know a few. why not??? Go buy a wolf between 10 of you eastern staters, tune it see how its done again sydneykid i know you could probably do this. wednesday i hope to be at the drags I am taking my car to bunbury next sunday (dyno day) 4th of december i am going to hyperdrive (dyno day) in the mean time i will take it to work everyday and enjoy my car. why because i built it for me.
  3. Steve May I have never had a problem starting my car. Peter Blight whats the address in bunbury? do you have sealed roads there yet? (Joke) Nguyen my car cranks over 3-4 time before it fires i like this. as it lets me get a little bit of oil pressure. When i was about to start my car at pas i was teased "dont start on me cause your wolf wont start" something like that. I then noticed that the r34 with the motec was going to be moved, all i said was ''watch this''. 8-9 cranks later it started. i said nothing else as the looks on their faces was enough. Inasnt. moron i will get down to the drags and i will post my times for all.
  4. family comitments stopped me from attending the track last night, it will happen
  5. built motor $7K turbo + Bits $5K cooler $2K ecu $2k Diff $1k clutch $1.2K Fuel System $1.3k the one thing i dont need .... bigger injectors i dont need them. some things in life you should not coment on, for others think before you type.
  6. the advantage of running smaller injectors is that the spray pattern is better, why would i change them full load afrs are well in the 11s
  7. your computer will run them no probs, as how big they are i dont know
  8. thank you syndeykid, i am currently getting 16/17.4 L/100km Fuel pressure is 30psi and rises to 50psi under full boost. what tyres and suspension setup will you be running? Nismo coilovers, (track spec) at this stage 225/50/16 RE55ES, when i become good enough that traction is an issue some DOT drag tyres
  9. Sorry Sydneykid for the late reply, as you asked i have been gathering infomation to back up my claim. From what i understand you work for a race car team, use motec in your race cars and are very knowlagable in you area. I am prepared for your critcism and happy to reply, as you keep the thread positive. unlike like the other dicks here. The wolf is a better computer because 1. Price, compared to the motec of simliair features the motec would cost over $7000 2. Idle speed control 3. it is a true plug and play 4. from exprience the fuel delivery 5. does not need CDI modules to run the coils properly. 6. the wolf has 2048map points, motec 1048 ----------- RNS11Z, i do have cams in the head, 256 in 264 ex, i will confirm mph on wednesday. ----------- TIMMMAYYY, (acutual Pimp) give me a break you ****ing retard, i will answer your questions when you are polite enough to answer mine. ---------- ronin6 your opinion is well founded, the wolf has very basic data logging, an apsolute must for racing. ---------- rev210 ---------- raist60, smoke the coils, i will keep reading, ???????? no idea im not running at over 90% duty cycle. ---------- dnb i would love to , my car is open for inspection, changing injectors not easy, lots to remove. --------- IMACUL8, i will talk it up, do you have a motec?, if so talk it up. clown --------- INASNT yes im a wolf salesman, lol. did that take you long to think up. --------- R32-GTS -------- INASNT another quality installment, do you think before or after you dribble. -------- BU5TER calling my self not the best drag racer would be to oposite of arrogant.? -------- RB20LagWagon cry cry cry, yet again. -------- my car is for real, sydneykid hope this is enough. tristan
  10. sure lets back the whale up, when will you be here, will have to get my car on the rollers
  11. your right batch fire has nothing to do with it. why open shut and open and injector. why not leave it open through the shut 'batch fire' part?
  12. So what you are saying BBQ is that i have bigger injectors and im not telling you becasue i like the grief that you non believers give me. Dont get your knickers twisted because the Wolf computer has far superior fuel management than any other compter full stop. But all of the "doubting Thomas's" here will never know, i dare you buy a wolf, tune it and see. Donnon and Ellis from HPI are wrong and they are not god, sorry to disappoint you all. 13devil. 350km to a tank around town gettting on it a fair bit. love to you all, no doubt i will see all of you in perth shortly PS. if there is anyone in perth who does not believe me pm or reply here i can show you.
  13. your right i was looking for bigger injectors. and you point is?
  14. Paul paid, touched and sucked!
  15. no clients go in the car. it not realy tame enough.
  16. sydneykid, only on the dyno, filter went back on afterwards
  17. Doughboy. the air probe is right in front of the compressor housing, my air filter is causing a minor restriction so i took it off before the dyno run. Roy. Peak power the turbo is running 18psi sorry dave wont wear a tie next time. Crack. about 6500rpm to get that figure Hungry6. . <- you D1 RX7. nice bit of chop dished there. r31nismoid. you dont have to pump the clutch to get it to break traction, your coming to perth, you can have a drive. tristan
  18. im not trying to start the debate again, here is the vid that was shot of my car on a shoot out mode dyno. http://www.blingbitches.com/~lenny/magic1.mpg Thanks Tristan
  19. im not trying to start the debate again, here is the vid that was shot of my car on a shoot out mode dyno. http://www.blingbitches.com/~lenny/magic1.mpg Thanks Tristan
  20. so timmy your a pimp are you? better change your sig. dyno sheet get it here. pics of my injectors and car soon along with a vid of the car on the dyno.
  21. 3040 rated at 500 at 1bar, cant see why a wolf and the right tuning it would not get 440rwhp. a bigger fuel pump might be needed along with a better head gasket
  22. BBQ. 7 pages, shortest book i have ever read. It did make 511rwhp on speed works dyno at Perth Western Salon, it did win its class and came second overall only to a dyno queen car. a 6l supercharged v8 came third. It was in a dyno comp and on the day all cars were measured on the same dyno. all we are stating is that 1. It was not a shoot out mode dyno 2. I dont believe the figure, it great and if i was selling the car. 3. speedworks would hold a bible to my car being 500+hp Dyno dynamics invented shoot out mode to avoid this and it should be the standard, how do you enforce it though? no editing needed.
  23. BBQ. Please do read the whole thread the answers lie within. I have the new dnyo chart in front of me and it will be posted tonight. Patience is a virtue
  24. 450rwhp is where it is at. Why. other components are falling over or reaching capacity first. Namely the turbo and con rods on my car, we are not even sure if the standard pleum is holding up proceedings like wise the r34 gtr cooler.
