  2. I will personally clean off any teenage drool which happens to reach your pristine paintwork. The deal is we meet in Osbourne Rd ,proceed up the main drive of Mt Maria Senior College Iwill pick up Matt and his date and you guys escort us to the Convention Centre where we drop them off,....resist the impulse to do a triple burnout and we're done.

  5. Talk to your Alfa mechanic friend. If he trained and worked on Alfas he is quite possibly God. Iv'e had several of the 105 series Alfas and the 1750cc motor and 5 speed gearbox is an absolute jewel.

That is 5 sets....25 mats they belong to Primo and are for sale. He left them with me because some Brisbane guys wanted mats but they never showed up.
  10. Steve you have to plan your trips with regard to fuel. When we went to Bundaberg we filled up with BP Ultimate near Nerangba and filled 4 20L jerry cans and we just made it back
  11. Don't think so he never replied to my e-mail
  12. Haven't got old plates and can't check wear marks as I got the thing rebuilt by the 'experts', I suspect they used plates for the Nismo series 1 clutch not the Spec 2 G-max as the plates they used are200mm diam with 140mm inner diam. so would like to know the diam of your origional plates.
  13. BNR32.......I have the same clutch, could you tell me the diam of your clutch plates. To the best of my knowledge the Daikin part nos for replacement are Ta003 and 92382024A plates are 215mm outer diam and 150mm inner
  14. Whats the diameter of the plates???
  15. I got my Nismo twin plate rebuilt here using Xedy plates cost me $1600 and I still believe it hasn't got the right plates in. addit Is the 32GTR a pull type clutch......if so more exxy

    r32 gtst floor mats

I've got 5 sets here that belong to Primo they are used and for sale at around $80
  18. It is similar but my stuff comes from an insulation specialist at $49 a metre. It's aluminiumised one side and self adhesive the other, it's actually 10mm thick so my box is 20mm thick 2 layers, not 1'. As zanda has seen just about any box material will work when the car is moving, the thing is how long will it resist heat soak eg when you'r hanging around the staging lanes.
  19. My Cold box is made from approx 1'thick soft foam with aluminiumised layer on both sides, I've just got the thermometer so it will be interesting to see if it resists heatsoak at idle any better.
  20. Well done....son. the grumpy old one said.......we'll make a man of you yet.
  21. Don't bother ..... unplug them all....carefully then take out the 2 screws holding each coilpack rail.....then lift them out in 2 lots of 3 coils....much easier
  22. Now compare the torque curves
  23. If you have disconnected the battery and pumped the brakes then you have reset the ECU. If yours is an average car and it was previously owned by an average driver , then resetting it won't make any real difference as it will reset pretty much as before. 800 is a pretty normal idle If the car has been driven fairly conservatively since last ECU reset then the settings will be conservative. So if you reset it and immediately take it out for a good thrash the ECU will "learn" the more aggressive driving style and reset settings to suit. The black thing has slotted screw holes. make sure you got it back in exactly the same position....the screwheads should have marked it. fractions of an inch are important in this adjustment.
