i'll install mine today - there is a lot of good feedback & the item looks to be good quality
-
here is your answer! http://cgi.ebay.com/GTR-Torque-Split-Contr...1QQcmdZViewItem the item has ended but if u email him direct he might have 1 for you - this is what i did
-
i definitely wouldnt look for another tuner - im sure the likes of ppl that have been around for quite some time such as paul (dirtgarage) will agree with me that jim @ crd is the beez kneez of tuning the problem you will also have is that your power fc will be locked by jim which means that if another was to retune they would need to initialise. run a nos shot that will give that edge you're looking! seriously though, you want to run a 10 on pump fuel so that you can tell your mates that it is a street car with street tune. thats my angle anyway
-
im actually running next wed night 16/7 - brett who has also posted on this thread (7heavn) will be joining me with his blue r34gtr.
-
done paul - where's the paperwork, press hard for 3 copies lol absolutely no problems with your request
-
paul - like i said YOU ARE A CHAMPION - LEGEND! yes it will be 1 run i'd say as once u crack a 10 there are other requirements such as rollcage etc...what else do they ask for?
-
you're right - i think a no response means its not a good idea. i'll be running the car next wed so i'll post my results where is the best place to get MT's or nittos? someone mentioned rocketindustries are cheapest...
-
i just measured the height of the MT's for the rear - they are 650mm. my 18's on the front are 620mm so i highly doubt that my brothers 16's or 17's are going to match. looks like i'll be running it in rwd on MT's - or should i go with the factory 16's all round on worn rubber in 4wd mode (they are almost slick).
-
is this what u have in your car? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GTR-Torque-Split-Co...1QQcmdZViewItem anyone here recommend this product?
-
hi guys, i am looking for a set of street tyres for my r32gtr rims, somewhere around 225/50/16 or there abouts, just for drag so they dont need to pass for rego. i will also consider drag radials or slicks. thanks, marko
-
i just need to know if i can run MT's on the rear with standard wheels on the front without hurting the 4wd system - has anyone done this with a gtr or is there any pics of quick gtr's with this setup? otherwise i'll stick with the 16's all round with worn rubber
-
looks like a nice unit u have here - so is it possible to run 100% rwd as i'd like to use this for drag racing? i also like the fact that it can be tuned for the circuit regards, marko

4wd Light Coming On Under Power?
Marko R1 replied to Brocaine's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i have the same problem - i'll check the boot reserve bottle today for this -
hi guys, i did the 1/4 mile & noticed that sometimes the 4wd will illuminate after the run & this will stay on till i turn the car off. it doesnt flash or anything so im thinking what could it be? is there anything i should check such as fluid levels? thanks, marko.
-
hi guys, i want to have the option to run rwd for drag purposes, am i best off fitting a switch? if so what is the best way to do this? im assuming maybe off the relay under the bonnet as per the workshop manual. OR should i invest in 1 of those torque control switches where u can actually control the f/r ratio from 0/100 through to 50/50? thanks, marko
-
well i have 3 wheel combinations for the front which im hoping 1 set will closely match the MT's @ 255x55x16. this is what i can run on the front: - my brothers 16" factory rims with factroy tyres (nfi what the aspect ratio is) - my 255x35x18 - my brothers 275x45x17 its probably best that i just put a tape measure on these wheels & see whats the closest fit for the MT's
-
my mates xr6 with the 10.89 did a 4.47 330' whereas mine did a 4.70 330'. his 60' was 1.53 & mine was 1.70
-
im not sure of the exact tyre height so i'll check this...so if they are almost the same tyre height i can run the MT's on the rear & 18's on the front? this would be better than 18's all round right?
-
good point - i'll find out & post it up 1 of my mates has got 2 MT's for his r33gtst - he offered that i can borrow these if i like (nice guy). will it be an issue running MT's on the back with my 18's (or street 16's) on the front? im not sure if the difference in rolling diameter will damage the driveline in anyway. the MT's are 255 profile on 16" rims.
