  1. I have niether, its ok, i just bought some from Autobarn, $33 so its not too bad.
  2. Need money to pay off the bills, that simple really. Its a perfect car if you want a reasonably quick daily, still a stock rb25. I bought the car from Mackay, which originally was from Brisbane. Only thing wrong with the car is perhaps (definitely) its too low. By the way, anyone have spring compressors I can borrow for the day?
  3. Putting my car up for sale, R31 with rb25 has some other kit to make 200kw+ atw. Thinking about getting a roadworthy, might help it sell. But in its current state $7500.
  4. Purchased of the r31skyline forums about 10/11 months ago. Has been a complete pleasure owning this car. Given me no troubles at all. Has reasonable power and sounds like an RB Should Approx 210,000 on body - 90,000km on the motor Serviced every 5000km Resprayed in black with pearl, gorgeous colour. New black carpets Import front and rear seats - front drivers seat is electric Top of the line viper alarm system with remote start - the remote for the remote start is broken. So it cant be used, unless you pay $400 for a new remote. Its a ridiculous price so I purchased a standard remote instead. Import projector headlamps Peddars lowered suspension Whiteline rear sway bar Sportmaxx XXR02 wheels 16x8 Pioneer headunit From the original for sale add: Series 1 RB25DET engine and manual gearbox conversion done by mercury motorsport. (modplated and engineered) Nismo heavy duty clutch Custom one piece tail shaft and silhouette limited slip diff Genuine HKS 2535 ball bearing turbo Custom 3'' exhaust - twin tips Front mount intercooler & GFB B.O.V Apexi PowerFC with hand controller Z32 airflow meter Walbro fuel pump Greddy electronic boost controller. High and low settings, 9psi and 14psi Dyno sheets for 175kw on 9psi and 200kw atw on 12 psi Currently tuned and running 14psi so probably another 10+kw or so more. Injectors are stock 370cc and are pretty much maxed out on 14psi, currently on 90% duty cycle. Has ran a 13.6 @ 105mph. Goes pretty good and that was a pretty slippery run. The bad, unfortunately to pass a road worthy, the car will need to be raised in the rear. Because its been sitting so low, the rear tyres have been chewed up pretty good. Plenty of tread but its got deep groove marks. The car will come with new Peddars standard height springs. Swap them over, and get 2 new rear tyres. Price $7500 - No RWC, No rego. Car located in Townsville Call me on 0413 524 083
  5. On the unit, go into settings -> injector And you should end up with this (from the faq): Now, weirdly my car has values of 95% Something in me says it should be 100% What do these values mean? Is it they run 95% of the 370cc all the time? If thats the case if I turn it to 100% it will richen it?
  6. More importantly is that you change it often and at regular intervals
  7. As Robbo_rb180 will know, hes tuned and installed 2 of my cars now. Made over 154kw at the wheels from a front wheel drive Corolla lol. Was hectec, did roll on 3rd gear skids. Other than tuning, the car had a problem with the Power FC not saving. A very common problem when the rb25 is transplanted into R31, Silvias etc... Has finally been sorted
  8. Got Broadhurst to tune the car today. Was hoping for more boost, cant get past 14psi of boost, darn you stock injectors. Car dynod at 200kw atw on 12 psi, it definitely feels faster, so in the vicinity of 210-220kw on the stock injectors. 88-90% duty I reckon the turbo has a bit more in it though, 16-18psi is what i want to run which should be around the maximum of efficiency for the hks2535. Definitely the man to go to for tuning of anything. Car drives soo much smoother with no more jerky-ness.
  9. Thats cheap... Anywho, anyone happen to have a timing belt kit, idler and tensioner as well, for the rb25? Just seeing if I can get one locally before going onto da intranet.
  10. So anyone out going for a yonder tonight? Time and place?
  11. Old fuel is perfect fuel for the lawn mower : )
  12. Thought i might be too late, did you bring it along. Otherwise, if you leaving soon, remember to bring it. What time you heading in here?
  13. Deal, remember to bring it with you when you come up here.
  14. How much for the valve, I dont want to spend much... Just want to solve this issue my car is having, car hesitates when your changing gears with high rpm. Currently not running a BOV
  15. How much do you want for it? Would prefer to pick up though.
  16. Anyone got a standard Rb25 bypass valve for sale? Maybe better known as a blow off valve?
  17. My 25 gearbox would crunch going into 5th gear when loading up 4th. Changed the oil to Redline Lightweight and it no longer crunches. Seems to work alright, price is steep though.
  18. Bit late notice, anyone keen for a drive tonight? Havent driven the car in 3 weeks, so just want to go here and there.
  19. Varex's definitely arent legal in Australia. Muffler shop fella is trying to make some monies out of you. Also that would be the throttle position sensor
  20. You spray throttle body cleaner. If the revs rise, your in the area. Or brake cleaner works, if the car drops revs than yea (opposite effect).
  21. Anyone know if you can still buy weatherstrips for r31 4doors?
  22. Bending the steering wheel? Why is the wheel still on for one...
  23. Yea its got intermittent running problems...I got nosey. Anyone know what motor its got?
  24. Thanks Rob for recommending quickstart. They removed the turbo timer, and fixed my dash. Price of $250 was pretty decent too. And look, they were working on another R31, although a much rarer 2 door.
  25. There is a dragway, but isnt the lease apparently going to expire end of the year? Its a shit track anyway, it fuggen pelts the front of your car with rocks when you go into the braking area. The police has done an excellent job, they really have. Its to do with peoples car and they're roadworthyness. As it turns out most of Townsvilles cars aren't. That said, my illegally turbod corolla went through 3 inspections and all passed. All they do is check your tyres are ok and that things arent leaking.
