i agree but its discussion that belongs in a seperate thread...people do seriously need to realise how much our cars need security...now more than ever....but no point kicking ppl that are already down..I know Ben would realise how much he should have had an alarm now but yea...well nothing that can be done.

Lets not turn the thread into a "get an alarm" discussion we can make another thread for that and reference it to this one. Keep it clean for discussion about finding the car. If it was your car that was stolen you wouldnt want to be hearing all about how you should have had a club/alarm/immobiliser etc etc. Bens worked freakin hard to build up this car after what had happend in the past and now its been stolen. Im sure its a hard time for him and it really sucks, so cut him some slack and keep the comments positive ppl. Thanks, Matt

I can understand it sort of....i would never have no alarm but sometimes you just dont think of it....give Ben a break hes a good friend of mine and I know how hard hes worked to build that car and everything and to have it stolen would really suck for him..he should have had an alarm but hindsight is a wonderful thing and unfortunately giving the guys shit isnt going to bring the cars back.

I think that should serve as an indication of what they're like at mecury, professional and sincerely dedicated to trying to help customers...if you go on that and from what i saw at a dyno day there last year...i'd trust them with my car.

i think it was also evidenced the guy probably couldnt drive...it was standard and based on the power to weight ration the skyline should have won. He probably launched it at like 6k and spun the tires for too long, then missed a gear or something. If the Mx5 got off to a good start and him to a crap one not hard for the mx5 to win over a small stretch..lets remember they were on the street.

yea technically your right about slander but the problem is in proving that your statement isn't faulsified or embelished. If the workshop are determined to be a pain its not hard if you give them something to go on, true or not...if your bad mouthing them and you cant back it up...they have a cause of action. Dont talk about it on a public forum and you cause no problems...its easier to say something along the lines of what i said above and discuss further privately via other means.

your close...its only the pre-meeting though. The step before the ones mentioned above...it follows 2 years of serious "talks". I think its in regard to North Korea...which means by the time they take over the world..we might be ready to do something.

As far as I can see there hasnt been any slander or defamation in here...apart from one comment which details his experience with Mecury (which if it wasnt true may pose a problem) People should limit their answers to something like "Have taken my car there before, wasnt impressed." Pm or talk privately further if you require..this saves SAU from any possible problems. This way you can get an idea about the workshop without causing any issues. Just my 2c.

noise limits are for girls....its rediculous..its not a public road..thats the point in going there..pisses me off.

back already....was going to go play basketball at the uni gym..but for some reason its set up like a UN conference is about to take place...dunno must be something being held in there.
