not saying you havent, just trying to state what happend...without using to much detail, i think its obvious what happend and I cant say I feel sorry for him. If I crashed from doing the same thing then I wouldnt expect anyone to feel sorry for me. Its his own stupidity..bad luck, typical it was a commodore...if it was a skyline we would have seen a 7 o'clock special on the news

yep its illegal to bend or cut a number plate. Its plain and simple against the law and I doubt that going and talking to the head officer of the station you were booked at is going to do anything about it either, they never want to hear about it as its their employee. If i were you id winge a little (send a letter to the police commisioner of QLD), send the fine back saying your contesting it, then contest it if it ever goes to court as it costs you nothing really. Then if you lose, which you probably will, make up brackets to try and fit the number plate out from the normal slot or you may have to drill holes into the bar to put it on....That or get personalies plates...its b.s but the police will just say it was your choice to buy a non australian car, bring it up to standards or wear the fines. I think its an absolute F*CKING LOAD OF SH*T and when I am finished my degree if I ever get caught for something stupid like this I will F*CK over whoever I can to get the ruled change as legal costs will be "free". hmm no thats not what happend...but maybe some other time it is. I dont think its appropriate to exactly explain what happend but it was the m1, late on a saturday night and there were alot of cars out doing things other than driving normally....the commo was doing something to perhaps entice the skyline...then proceeded to do something other than drive safely, he lost controll and thats what happend...bad luck, i think thats the end of it.

How good was the dragstrip tonight...they have 4 lanes now, you do rolling starts and its free..!!! Was about 100+ cars out and a fair few tough ones. Racing for about an 1.5hrs or so, until the cops decided that we'd had enough for one night so we all decided to leave. Was anyone off the forums there tonight....it was definately alot of fun!
