Just reading over this thread, I was always under the impression rear wipers were standard on the series 1 33's? But I don't think I've ever seen a series II with one? Seems like I'm in the minority with a series II without one?

Yeah excess with JCI is high, but also if you increase you're excess it can drop your premium by a fair bit. Being a dickhead when I was younger meant there was no chance of me getting insurance through them, but I would definitely consider switching to them in the future. Still if you're young and and an under 25yo with an import I really don't see a lot of other options!

Depending on your age I really recommend going with just car, I insured my 33 GTST last year (male, 20, Hawthorn) and compared to other quotes I got from Shannon's and RACV they really offered a better price than the competitors.

Hey guys couple of parts that I'm willing to part with should anyone be interested. Have a 3inch decat pipe to suit a R33 GTST, barely used and is great quality. $60 Also have a GTT SMIC that I intended to put on but have decided that I no longer have the need for this item. $100 All parts are located in Hawthorn, Vic Pick up is prefered but postage can be arranged at own cost. Open to any reasonable offers.

Yeah that's the only thing that's put some doubt in my mind lol. Maybe 5% at the back and 15% at the front? Though that'd probably still be bloody hard lol. My mate has 5% on his XR6T ute, says he has to put the window down to reverse down side streets at night...sucks when it's rainin I guess lol

Hey there everyone searched this topic a fair bit but couldn't really find a comprehensive answer. I'm after a DO-LUCK kit for my 33 GTST, but have trawled through the net I haven't actually been able to find one for the GTST. I'm pretty certain from reading that this kit is generally only available for a GTR, and if that's correct does anyone know if an extensive amount of modification would be needed so it would fit on? Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hi all, if this isn't exactly relevant please feel free to lock thread but I believe that I've purchased some (possibly) stolen plates. A few months ago I was the winning bidder on eBay for a set of plates "KILR33", the auctioner gave the impression that they would be completley transferable. However after the auction when I attempted to ask for details so the transfer could be completed I was merely told that they 'were no longer in contact with the person whose plates they were (as they were selling on 'behalf' of someone) and couldn't see them being able to get this information anytime in the forseeable future (alarm bells began to ring). I know it was a while ago, but if anyone does have any information about this feel free to contact me.
