  1. V36 370GT SP sedan in pearl white, black leather and sunroof please!
  2. If that place you read that awesome piece of factual *cough* information also said the the boogie man exists would you believe them. No.
  3. Yeah good luck with all that. Its amazing what other kids can tell you in the sand pit these days
  4. Ive had two nissans before this both australian delivered cars and both went further on 98 than they did on e10. I got told to put 98 in it when i bought it and i have. Always BP ultimate or Shell V-power (v power in a v)
  5. Would you drink diet coke or normal coke? Normal because you know that its nicer and better than its "alternative"
  6. Ive ran 98 since day one of owning the V. Get better economy
  7. Hey man your newie based. I may look like an idiot but would a sedan one fit?
  8. 8-10hp? 10hp is just over 7kw. Do you know how much of that 7+kw will get the rear wheels and make a difference. Sweet fark all. The factory air intake isnt that bad just take that stupid lid/cover off the front and change the filter. As for headers and shit ask scotty. From what i can remember the 30DD takes some of the 35DE stuff but not much if not none will work on the 25DD. VQ25DD to V35s are what CA18DE are for silvia. The VQ25DD is actually out of a FWD nissan cefiro (maxima here) and it barely moved that.
  9. Plenum spacers on DD can work but modification to the EGR os required. Have your plenum cleaned, plug changed and oil changed will improve it. Z tube all it does is make a noise and does sweet fark all. May aswell put a pod filter on for the full sick induction noise. VQ25DD were not designed for power they where designed for economy. Really should have done your research with modifications in mind before buying a 250
  10. Looks boss man. Ive been waiting for a person to put 370 wheels on a 36. Suits it well? 350GT SP?
  11. Im leaving on the 20th to get it done. So not yet! Dale were do you.......do you get bored at work or something?
  12. I thought dale told all the jokes around here..... Until now
  13. Na they will clear baguettonos tho..... Hahah get it baguette + akebono = baguettonos hahahahaha.....no Ok ill leave...
  14. I want that colour! If i find a momo in that id do that. It wont stand out like dogs balls like the one i have will. Ohwell.
  15. Its still pretty smooth 90% of the time. You do feel it change but every now and then in bumper to bumper or low speeds it gets a bit jerky.
  16. *facepalm* I had my shift kit put in last year by a friend and former NM35 stagea owner. Scotty is doing my VQ25DET motor swap. Ring MV automatics. What will happen is: you pay i think it was $550 in total. $100 of it is like a deposit. They send you the upgraded valve body ok. You put the upgraded one in and take the factory one out. Send them your OLD factory valve body and the give you the $100 back. Ring around some automatic transmission specialists in sydney and get a quote on how much to have it installed. I will tell you this right now: changes are quicker but not smoother and tend to be clunky/rough on occasion
  17. Not another rotor nut who owns a stag? Im kidding Would love to turn up with the new motor but end of feb/early march ill in melb getting it done.
  18. Ill rephrase that. My car is getting the VQ25DET swap
  19. If you stumble across a nice search engine on the interwebz called google and type in RE4RO1B you will be amazed that it is actually a R34 GT-T auto box and that MV automatics in SA make one for this box. How do i know this? Ive done it. I am the person doing the VQ25DET swap in the 250GT.
  20. I asked for the model code and VIN of the car the wheel came off with no luck. But im sure many of you have seen that gold 2004 arx that can not be complied om ebay atm. It has a momo wheel, he put a picture up of the build plate and from that i rang Lake macquarie nissan here in newcastle with unable (or to lazy to use google translate) i rang hornsby NIssan and they gave me a rough quote of 900 for all four trims and shifter posted to aus. Was provided with part numbers and went on amayama and got quoted 476 without postage. But josh the ones you linked us too i found on import monster which are for 47 so they will be getting watched closely.
  21. Would have been nice of he told me that the covers were missing to begin with. Otherwise i wouldnt have bought it. I asked him for the VIN or any form of identification of the car so i could goto nissan and get the parts. Dont get me wrong hes a nice guy the emanage was a complete steal and im happy but the whole steering wheel thing wasnt right. But hey whats done is done Yes there are two different colours of "woodgrain" the lighter and more common tan colour and there is a dark chocolate almost black colour which i am yet to see in the flesh. I rang nissan for all four trims and shifter ans it came to about 900. Got onto amayama and it was 476. Getting pretty pumped!
  22. Little bit over two weeks to go. Getting excited but very nervous at the same time. Gathering the stuff ready in two crates ready. Just have to buy oil and filter and im set. Big thanks to Travis (one of the few non Vtards) who found me the missing bits of trim for my.option momo that someone on here sold me and has not been helpful at all. I think some of you know who it is. Also looking for the woodgrain door grab trim strips. Would also be keen on a black leather/woodgrain gear shifter to match but not fussed. #NF
