Hey mate... Forget I ever made this post... Upon looking a second time I have figured out it's because the angle the engine is on without the box there... Once the box is in and bolted up it wont be too close anymore. Gotta love taking a break from something hey.

Yeah I have googled it but most pics dont show it from the right angle so while I can see the master cylinder I can't see if the bottom i awfully close to the plenum.

Hey guys.. I am half way through doing a manual conversion on my R34 and have noticed that my clutch master cylinder sits awfully close to the intake plenum... So close in fact I am not sure I can fit up my braided clutch line. Just wondering can I get some engine bay pics, particularly of the clutch master as a comparison? It would also be great if someone has already done this conversion and can tell me if they had the same issue. Thanks in advance.

Yes well I dont expect it to last long... and that's kinda the plan, to kill the clutch lol.

Cool thanks guys... A mate ended up giving me a Clutch Industries RPM Heavy duty clutch, so I am gonna run that for now to get things going... In the mean time i'll weigh up my options Gay Pink vs NPC.

Can anyone tell me if the drive plate bolts from the auto can be used for the flywheel?

Its such a shock seeing what you guys paid all these years ago... 3k for parts??? Glad I waited till now as I've picked up pretty much everything under the body - complete rear end (diff, cradle, arms etc), complete front end (rack, arms, hubs etc) and gearbox conversion for $700.

Hi guys... I am converting my R34 to manual and need a new clutch as the one in the conversion kit has seen better days. Been looking at getting a HD Exedy clutch and have the cash here to do so however my mate just gave me, for nothing, a brand new never used clutch he had for his Patrol running an RB30 Turbo. I wanna know if this will work? Do VL turbo clutches work in an RB25 gearbox? And also what is the brand "RPM" like? Should I just fit this for now since it's free or just do it right from the start and buy the Exedy HD one?

After doing a bit of research today I think i'm gonna going with an Exedy Button clutch. Anyone know of anything similar but cheaper?

Hey guys... Just wondering what my best option is for a clutch. I am just about to do the manual conversion on my R34 with all R33 bits. The kit is coming with a worn 5 puk extreme clutch so I need a new one before i convert my car. The engine is pretty much stock running 165kw atw but I plan to get a Nistune board installed and tuned for a round 200kw atw in the next few months. So yeah can anyone give me some recommendations? It's kind of a daily driver but i walk to work most days so it's mainly used for fanging around having fun on the weekends.
