thanks for the heads up!! i have to pass thru the thick of these street drags every week on my way home from work. and i always get surrounded by the typical bunch of holden and ford drivers trying to pressure me into dragging. but i can honestly say that i've never even thought about dragging along princes hwy - thats just flatout stupid! oh well, i guess i should take an alternate route home from now on....

unfortunately i was defected last week so now i need to replace my pod filter with the stock airbox. when i bought my car, i had the stock airbox, but for some reason was missing the air snorkel (which directs air from the front grill to the airbox itself). i just need to borrow someone's R34 air snorkel for a day if possible. or im willing to buy it outright if anyone has one lying around! any help would be great... PLEASE HELP! THANKS ALL!!

well... no im not sure actually. but i dont wanna waste my time going back and forth to clear the defect. but if u're sure i can clear the defect, then i wont bother with the air snorkel

i'm looking to buy a standard R34 auto transmission oil cooler. must be in good working condition. im willing to pay for postage from interstate to melbourne.

well, when i went to an auto specialist, he suggested that i could connect my existing standard cooler to a secondary oil cooler. with both combined, it should give me the same (or close to) cooling capacity of an aftermarket replacement cooler. but whats the DC cooler? havent heard anything about that.....

seeing as theres been quite a few ppl have done this valve body assembly upgrade, im finally ready to do it myself. along with the upgrade, i need to get another standard transmission oil cooler. if anyone has upgrade to a bigger trans oil cooler, can i please buy ur old standard one? if u're interstate, im willing to pay for postage to melbourne. i think u're getting confused with the terms used.... and another thing to remember is what is legally allowed, may not necessarily be the same as what ur insurer will allow (which really sux sometimes!) according to vicroads (i've spoken directly to them in the past): - the rim WIDTH can be increased 25mm or 1 inch. - the rim DIAMETER can be increased 2 inches from what is noted on the little sticker on ur car which indicates what wheel and tyre size the vehicle was issued with. as most will tell u tho, sometimes the vicroads regulations are a little ambiguous and depends on who is reading it and interprets the regs. if u're really worried, i would suggest talking to ur insurer first - as their limitations are ususally stricter than vicroads anyway!
