R34 GTT normal and sport bumper? i didnt realise there were 2 diff standard bumpers from nissan. but i got a bomex front bar - would that be a problem??

hi Can someone PLEASE tell me what the standard height is for an R34 GT-T ?? I have noticed that the rear of my car seems a fair bit higher than the front. And I just measured the distance from the centre of the wheel to the wheel guard. Front Left - 360mm ; Front Right - 355mm Rear Left- 380mm ; Rear Right - 380mm I'm considering getting aftermarket suspension, but am hesitant cos my current ride height seems a bit weird. If you have a R34 GT-T with standard suspension, can you please give me some info. Thanks!

damn didnt realise BRANT were having a stocktake sale. its pretty good - only problem is that its only limited to Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast; QLD - Gold Coast & Brisbane only. but if we can get 5 cars here in Melbourne, then we can certainly organise a group buy with 15% discount...

im also definitely interested for the next possible order for R34 front clear indicators too. NismoR34 - what does the rear clear indicators look like?? i've never seen them before...

unfortunately not enuf response... i would love to get this done for everyone else in all cities- however, Nick from Brant has said that the discount applies only to the cars in each separate city. ie. if there were 5 cars in Melb, and 5 cars in Syd; then discount would only be 15% - b/c the discount only applies to each city.

hi everyone im a relatively new skyline owner. i've just been lurking around the forums reading all the threads, and i'm definitely coming to the drift nationals. im not sure if anyone has realised... but this meet point is also where the NissanSilvia.com group are meeting. i have absolutely no problems/issues with this at all - infact, i have attended many of the Silvia meets/cruises as my friends have silvias. i was planning to just cruise with the silvia club to drift nationals. BUT if i cruise with u guys, can i also get pit access too?!

i gotta say - that drawing is pretty dodgy, but also very clear. thanx for that drawing cos it makes sense to me now of how it works. my friend maybe very interested. r the final details finalised yet?

meh.... i was bored.... so i just went to poke my head in my boot. i got Sanyo rear speakers - but cant see the power rating or the speaker size. i'd have to say that any normal person would be more than satisfied with these speakers - but as i said earlier - these may not be standard nissan speakers, and u may even have better speakers in ur car which is coming...

refer to another thread in this forum "Have you seen this speaker?". as mentioned in that thread, it appears that not alot of the imports come with stock nissan-fitted speakers. i was quite surprised to find that my R34 has relatively decent speakers - but i havent checked what brand or power rating they are. if u still wanna know, then i can tell u in a couple weeks cos i'm planning to install a full sound system soon.

yeah i've been thinking about that.... is the Serenity Max bitumen-based?

does anyone know where to get 'brown bread' sound deadening in melbourne? i just went to Jaycar, who are the australian distributors. but they are out of stock and wont get any until June (at the very earliest). so does anyone know where i can find it for a reasonable price? thanx

thanx paulr33. i've already got a full sound system from my previous car [h/u, splits, rears, amps, subs etc] - so i'm now itching to install it in my new car since it was all just sitting on my lounge room floor for the last 7 months! now my dilemna is whether or not to just be content with my existing system, or to upgrade and get a full new system... hmmm.... anyone got some spare cash to give me?

my only suggestion is the post that problem in the CAA forums []www.caraudioaustralia.com]. they are all stereo/audio guru's. they will be the best ppl to ask cos there are some professional installers on that forum too. goodluck

to be honest, im not sure if they have to be retuned. but i havent heard of anyone with an import car retuning just for the petrol octane levels. but im thinking that its only 2 measly little RON's anyway. but dont listen to me - cos i have NO idea at all....

oops. i just checked, and its not there anymore. but i swear that i saw a manual spec r S15 for sale not too long ago...

i saw a manual pewter S15 silvia spec R [JDM] on carpoint. i think i did a search under: >nissan >silvia its definitely not under 200SX - as thats only the aust-spec. hope that helps

yeah make sure all the wires are connected properly [positive-positive; negative-negative]. but i wouldnt think that phase cancellation would cause ALL the bass to 'disasppear'. but i cant think of any other reason why it mite be doing that...

oohhh i see... and i wasnt looking in the boot JUST to find where the battery was... i was just trying to visualise where to place my subs and amps etc.

I have just purchased an R34 and am looking to install a full sound system too. i was wondering if anyone had any photos of their boot install/setup. i wanna get some ideas of where to have things placed etc... any help would be great! and 666DAN: what "battery compartment area in the boot" ? i was looking in my boot last nite [for a very long time], and cannot think of where u r talking about... ?
