  1. So the JDM's are all electronically limited to 180?
  2. Yeah that's too far for me. I'm around Randwick. I ended up going to IS Motor Racing and saw Indy. Pretty happy service there....transmission fluid came out almost black glad that's now changed. Anyways just off topic. Does anyone know if it's worth getting z tubes? Noise/Power wise?
  3. Hey guys, I've got the 70th anniversary edition. I've seen a few of the v35's with a speedo reading of 280km/h any idea why mine only goes up to 180 or is that just standard? Cheers guys.
  4. Sweet. My mates recommending IS Motor Racing over at Rockdale.
  5. Hey guys, I need to do a major service on my 350GT, coolants changed, motor oil, pads etc. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to drop my car off or whether the Nissan Dealerships do a good job without being ripped. * I've never taken my car to the Nissan Dealerships, so any feedback would be welcome Edit: Just called up Nissan and their looking around $660 for a 80,000km Servicing. God Damn that's expensive
  6. Seen a Grey v35 with Infiniti Badge on Hume HWY roughly 3 weeks ago. Maybe it's you haha
  7. Damn i'm doing around 460km on 65L with a mixture of highway and city driving. Idle during traffic really kills it i guess.
  8. Yeah i replaced the battery on mine everything was working fine didn't have to reset the window. Not too sure on why USDM need to reset though as you said.
  9. I can't imagine lower mine any further. Don't know what ride height i'm on but it's stock and i'm scraping everyday i drive.
  10. Same, mines all stock and i scrape everywhere. Speed bumps and driveways are now my worst enemy.
  11. Oh god no, that's just looking for trouble.
  12. Scrape each time going into my driveway. Also parked in those underground parking lots in the city. Every car in front of me went down fine, except when I did front wheel went over the bump without scraping but heard a loud ass grinding when the bump was underneath in the center....heartbroken. So how often do you guys scrape? And should I be concerned?
  13. Also in Sydney 24 here driving a 03 350GT coupe. Insured for 1,600 with NRMA and my mum as primary driver. Excess is at 1,200 if i remember correctly.
  14. Black V35 lowered with chrome rims at Bankstown Red and White V35 at Kingsford Sydney. Both there everyday. However i havn't seen the white one for quite a while...think the girl sold it
  15. Good point I had the same issue. Lock on the remote would only work for the driver side and not the passenger side (Most likely it's the actuator), however if their both not working it might be loose wiring on the remote.
  16. That would be more heartbreaking than the breakup.
  17. Got a 550cca 105rc battery for $150. I don't know why these come in 360cca imported. Asked around and the 350z use 500cca. Why do they use such small batteries in Japan?
  18. Battery died after parking my car. tested the battery and it has no charge. Anyone know what size batteries for the 2003 v35 coupe? Can we use the same size as the 350z?
  19. Haha same issue, shits me when they slam the door shut. The doors on the coupe are pretty heavy but surprisingly they close without much force.
  20. Ordering mine from that guy I cancelled my order with japanparts as they don't have the silver in stock, and its in back order till next month. Thinking of changing the factory Bose.
  21. Seems like everyone is out of the silver dash. Anyone know where i can get the single din brackets and the tray?
  22. Ok guys so i did a little research to save yourself headache with wiring (plug and play attempt). With the Bose sound system in order to retain the amp you have to use the NSA-04. If you have a factory navigation system and you wish to retain that then go for the NSA-05 interface. For none Bose systems use the NSA-03. NSA-04 link: http://www.beatsonic...iti/nsa-04.html NSA-05 link: http://www.beatsonic...iti/nsa-05.html Like Greg mentioned speak to Chris Rogers and he should be able to hook you up. I got my headunit yesterday (Kenwood KDC-U549BT) and realized that without the interface i will lose the amp along with the 2 speaks in my back seat So far this is the only solution i know on how to retain the factory amp and speakers. Parts so far (don't know if i may need anything else or if i'm ready for the conversion): JDM Dash kit and A/C controls with tray Head unit (possibly harness if needed) Beat Sonic NSA interface Any suggestions are welcome. Note* These only apply if you have an amp setup so it's not for everyone
  23. Oh sweet i think i need something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2007-Infiniti-G35-Bose-Replace-Radio-Wire-Harness-/140494923285?pt=Car_Audio_Video&hash=item20b6266615&vxp=mtr#ht_1243wt_1163 To retain the use of the amp. Also any recommendations for the HU (not sure what power output i need).
  24. I'm doing the exact thing right now. Ordered the JDM dash kit from japanparts. Metra buttons do look a bit tacky in real life so stick with JDM. But basically you would need to also replace the AC controls. You can find them together with the facia, AC controls, single/double DIN brackets and tray. Also get a harness for the wiring to save some headache, hope that helps
