I'm selling my HKS GD Pro 3 plate clutch. Standard spline pattern, not Hollinger.
I know you see descriptions of clutches saying 'nearly new' and 'little wear', but this one really is almost new!!!
It has done less than 50 kms on a new engine that was being run in.
It was removed from a high spec GTR in the UK that was being built for a customer in Europe. Basically the engine was built and finshed, a running in map was put on to the ecu and a few Kms put on the car, we were supposed to run the car in for the customer, however this is where the problems started, for whatever reason the customer was not in a position to pay off the balance of the bill, which was quite a bit of cake. So, the car stood for a few months, waiting for the customer to pay, he never did. So it was agreed to sell off some of the parts. I bought and removed the clutch. It was intended to be used on a R32 Race car I was building, however when I moved to NZ I decided not to take it with me, and sold it as an unfinished project, I brought a few of the parts with me though.
As you can see from the pictures the clutch is for all intents and purposes, new. The Friction plates are 4.6mm, which is the thickness when they are brand new, so there is no wear at all, which is congruent with the very small amount of work they have done.
When new these clutches sell for $2500 AUD.
I am asking $1800 NZD, which translates to $1428 AUD, which for the sake of 50 kms of use is a saving of over $1000
