V(35)Powarh!

purchased my bc coils today and turns out they are the type RA spewing cause I was excited to put them on....the shop is gonna cop an earful from me! Inconvenience as I live about 45 from where I purchased the coilovers!!! I told them if they were 100% sure they were the rubber mounted ones and they said yes I should've checked before I left but was in a rush and they ain't open tomorrow !!! Sucks or should I keep the pillow top mounted coilovers? Suggestions

Uh I see I guess from hearing that a lot of people are running bcs looks the way to go...sparing now cause the shop I was gonna pick it up from only had the pillow mounted ones left sold his last rubber mounted one recently!!! Now Ill have to wait longer uh wells... And Mat you are a very knowledgable man that's exactly what the guys told me the pillow mounts knock and are noisy..track set up....are you gonna get a set of bcs too?

Yea I think it should be flush with 19" wheels so I guess it'll be fine...I've been doing research and alot of people seem to rate it well and for the price...I guess it a bang for buck product....is 1350 a decent price?

Hi guys, Just wondering who has the BC coilovers on their v35 coupe? Would you be able to advise how they are when fitted? Looking at getting a set now although a guy I spoke to at a shop that sells them says he was advised by bc that on a stock wheel once lowered at maximum would still be a 2 finger gap between guard and wheel? Is this true, answer is quite vague. Just wanted to know whoever has these how low you could go with the bc coilover? Also wanted to know is there any difference between rubber top mounts and pillow mounts? Cause there are two types of bc coilovers one is RS and the other RA! Any insiders would be fantastic! hey guys, just wondering if anyone has dropped thier v35's on springs with this sort of setup 19x9.5 and 19x11 or similar? what brands, spring rates and drop? i just want to purchase the right springs with the right drop with this agressive set up....coilovers would be perfect however financially cannot afford it....please help

varrstoen 1.1.2 mesh style...bbs lm style.... in b4 fakies/replicas.......lols i really wanted to go japanese but i didnt want steep holes in the pocket, that plus curb rashes on expensive rims wold hurt ALOT! also paranoia of people stealing them if you park too long!

hey guys thanks for all you thoughts and help in this matter, the reason im going with this setup is cause i have seen the wheels and set up done and i think it looks really good! and also they only offer 9.5f and 11 rears, the offsets were to clear brembos.... i know alot of thought and research is to be done before i do anything... i will let you know once i have updates... Hi Guys, After some wheels for my V35 coupe. Wanted to know your thoughts on 19x9.5 fronts and 19x11 rears? Is anyone running these specs and fitted onto thier v's? i'd love to see some pics. Also after some research ive found that i would need to run 245/35/19 fronts and 275/35/19 for the rears. Offset is +12 front and +15 rears. Questions are 1. Will 245/35/19 fit on the 19x11 rears? cause atm i have 245/35/19's all round...if not let me know what tyres will fit best 2.Will i need to roll my guards? 3.Do i mount the wheels on first with the tyres then see what sort of drop i will need? springs/coilovers thoughts? 4. If i do need to roll guards, do i need to have the car dropped first and go from there or do i roll them first with wheels at stock height before dropping? Please advise, im not very cluey when it comes to wheels/tyre fitment. Thanks

any cheap deep dish, step lip, reverse lip wheels out there that are decent? holla, if not looks like i may go down the varrstoen lane although im sceptical that id find a better wheel though atm its not happening...

checked out DPE guys some sick looking wheels..thought itd be budget forged wheels...i was quoted 5.5k for one set i was eying...fck that might as well buy work wheels...anyways back to more searching, just want some nice budget wheels,not hard is it?

yea when it comes down to it the work wheels are plain sick, but yea the cost throws me, that plus rubber and coils will put a massive dent in the wallet... im still iffy witht the varrstoen 1.1.2's as some shots ive seen looks real good and some shots not as convincing and these are all on the v35s courtesy of google and g35 driver. going 11's all round is that doable? ive tried serching for some on a black v35 but cant seem to find one so i can see how they look... ive emailed varrstoen and to clear brembos he suggested... +12 all round, might run stretched tyres...but itll look pretty sweet aye.... would i go hyper silver or hyper black? decisions decisions!

Seano i have a black v35 70th anniversary....i really like vs xx as well i dont know if i could justify the 4k price tag though lol i could turbo the car for a couple more grand! yea bc seems like a good overall coilover...but if im tryna save money might go springs we will see.... what do u think of the varrstoen 1.1.2 its mesh like the vs xx but it just doesnt strike me like the vs xx does, maybe cause i know its top notch sh**! thats why haha

Hi Guys, I am on the look out for some new wheels for the 04 coupe. Just wanted to see if anyone knows where i can source either work or ssr wheels cheap? or even used ones The prices on the wheels are crazy although they looks heaps sweet! what are your thoughts i have these in mind. Work VS XX Work Meister SR1 SSR Professor SP1 SSR Professor MS1 or i could go with these cheapies varrstoen 2.2.2 varrstoen 1.1.2 if you have any other suggestions please let me know. After the jap look, no chromies... step lip, deep dish is what i have in mind... also what would be a perfect offset? another debate altogether is do i drop on springs or coilovers? im not gonna track just for street performance...

Uh yes I thought so wasn't too sure as mine came with the aero package and it looks like a lip hard to tell cause its black lol...but in saying that if I were to get one of these lips off eBay then obviously I need to take off the stock one right? Just want to make sure... P.s loving my car more and more each time...though a little more power would be awesome

hi guys, i am thinking about getting a front lip off ebay, just wondering do the v35s come with a stock standard lip already? if thats the case then ill just keep it stock...i am not too sure if the aero package included a stock front lip? also if you could refer some front lips to look out for thatd be good... dont want to spend too much though max $200... just add some depth at the front... ta

hi guys, i just noticed the other day whilst filling up my 04 v35 coupe, that the metal flap where you put the nose of the petrol gun in is missing! just wanted to know if this is standard? im pretty sure all cars come with that metal flap, just wanted to know whether mine has broken or something? Please advise so i know whether its broken or its like that. thanks!

Mate I wish I knew! It could be anything that's the problem and I ain't having fun driving it ATM thinking about what it could be everytime I drive it....

The first time I just got him to check my brake pads and not the actual fault itself...so yea through searching the common things mentioned were brake fluids/pads wheel balance/sensor etc.... I have done some searching on here but just wanted to see who else had these issues moreso recently..... So dot 4 is the go? The cap of the brake fluid in the engine states dot 3 only though so not sure ay....

Hey guys my 04 v35 coupe is having problems. Everytime I hit the throttle the brake light shows up followed by the slip and VDC off light after a whole the brake light disappears though slip and vdc stay on! It's annoying me and I have done some research, just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem and what was done for it to be fixed... A few things mentioned were brake pads/brakes mine just hit 40k on the clock which sounds about right when the pads should be worn though my mechanic noted that I could still drive for another 5/10k kms... Are these lights signs of low brake fluid/pads!? Or is this something else!? If its the brake fluids should I use dot 3 or 4!? The brake fluid cap on the car states dot 3 only? Also note the fluid level is half way between max and low so do I need a top off!? Thing is I don't know what the previous owner has used is it alright to mix dot 3 with dot 4!? Or would be best to flush it all first? Your help and opinions/views would be much appreciated!!

mine does the same thing it unlocks on both sides but doesnt lock the drivers side when pressing the lock button switch on drivers door.... and ive seen the same thing from another v35 coupe as well....also the electrician i went to said thats how it is with the japanese design, bemuses me though.... it should lock and unlock both sides...
