  2. After researching a lot on high hp twin cam rb30's i've come to the conclusion these balancers are a good thing on a high reving big hp rb30 setup. I actually have a brand new one for sale $1100ono in the for sale section, because plans changed. This has the underdrive water pump pulley kit as well. Retail is $1350. Cheers.
  3. All pm's replied, Sorry blownnboosted i did not recieve your pm? Pics.
  4. Hi Guys, i have for sale, a brand new from the states ATI Balancer suit rb30/rb26. Perfect for rb26 or rb30 combo that is going to be making some serious hp and revving over 8000rpm. Comes with underiven water pump pulley drive for hi reving motor. Everything you need i believe. I would love to keep it but there is a genuine reason for selling, to buy house. Retails for $1350. Had to wait ages for this to arrive from the states. Will take $1100 ono, serious peice of hardware. willing to negotiate. PM if interested.
  5. I have an autronic smc, cdi, it's perfect, very easy to learn and get around. motor makes over 500rwkw no problems. Very good product.
  6. Hi All, i have a perfect high mount exhaust manifold to suit rb26/30 combo with a gt35/40 or to3 style flange with external wastegate mount (PSR Flange). It's a quality made manifold by JPC in Melbourne and was built for big HP street/strip applications. Fully TIG welded and perfect collector design. The manifold is a work of art. Steam pipe construction. Won't crack like some of the cheaper chinese manifolds. Cost me over $1650 with receipt. Looking for around $1250ono. Brand new Condition. Cheers. Email [email protected] for more info or pm.
  7. Big difference i think here guys, you are all talking about manual boxes taking the punishment with dyno's etc, but isn't the topic about a gearbox for drag racing with around 500+rwkw. Even a car that can make 600rwkw on the rollers, prob won't last long flat shifting on the drag strip at those power levels, but an auto powerglide built correctly could and for a margin of the cost... So an auto may be the cheapest and best way to go if you just want times etc like try09's etc. I personally would use an auto, along the lines of jatco 3 speed or powerglide. Powerglide if you want a reliable proven combination. Cheers.
  8. Gary, don't stock rb26's let alone the os giken 3 litre kit use the lower tensioner and pulley setup? Meaning the belt has similar teeth clearance? .
  9. Take it to a panel beater and get it sprayed in 2pak paint. Looks great and you can colour code it to whatever you like!
  10. Go the stacked plate style like SK has. Much more efficient than a serpentine style of the same size. In fact for the same size core it works about 30% more efficiently. MOST of the good stacked plate cores are made by the company from Canada and just rebadged/packaged. Eg. B & M, BTR, Drive tech. All the same core, different packaging but all VERY good trans coolers. It is unbelievable how much heat transfer gets done with one of these... And the oil is the only thing keeping the box alive! Cheers.
  11. That's what i want to know. If it's has 150teeth or not, Thanks for the responses guys. I emailed otomoto, and it's $290 but i have to call willall racing to find out the specs. Cheers.
  12. I've used hpr oil in a rb30 making decent power for years with no dramas? wtf??? i have not used MOTUL or anything else though.
  13. Hi all, just a weird question, does anyone have any information on the OS Giken 3 litre timing belt? Like how many teeth does it have and the total length? I can't seem to find and information i need. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers.
  14. Hi All, i have a set of R33 GTR standard camshafts in good condition. I'm after $250ono. Will COD etc... PM for more info. Cheers.
  15. In drag racing with turbocharged motor's VP Race fuel c16 (approx 116 ron)is a popular fuel of choice, but at over $5 per litre it's expensive. High lead content leads means cat convertors and oxy sensors will not like it... So if your running straight off the down pipe and interested in drags only, it's worth a look. Cheers.
  16. One 044 will provide you 350rwkw and more! Great pump. Can get them around $350 or so if you shop around.
  17. Nice effort on the strip. Ouch about the price of the fuel. I'm sure it's only $108 a litre here. :headspin:
  18. Hi all, i'm chasing a rb26dett head, minus manifolds. Needs to have valve train and in good working order. Genuine buyer. pm me with what you have available and prices. Cheers.
  19. Thanks for the responses guys, i've actually got a r31 skyline rb30e, but i just needed to know if one motor had more power/strength integrity over the other from factory. I'm sure i read somewhere that the thread for the heater water lines at the back were different between the two? Cheers.
  20. Hi all, sorry if it's been covered, i've tried a search and couldn't find anything. Just wondering if your doing a twin cam head swap onto a standard rb30e, would the R31 skyline motor be just as suitable as the VL rb30e? Are they the same internally and externally? I just needed to know if the r31 skyline bottom end had the same piston's, compression ratio, integrity and strength as the standard vl rb30e? Any info or help would be appreciated. Cheers.
  21. Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought the dome of the n/a piston's in a rb30 block with a twin cam head achieve's the predicted 8.2:1 comp ratio he's after. Even the thinnest head gasket with turbo piston's the compression would be way too low.
