    Very true. If you redline it everyday it wont see christmas. If you take it easy and give it a bit now and then it will last a fair while longer.

    My rb25 has 300kw @19 psi for the last 18 months also. No signs of failure. But i do think that she is on borrowed time. 230-240kw should be no worries. Btw what turbo are you running? Stock injectors running 500hp?

    That is correct, its all or nothing. As for engineering a pod filter: The engineer i spoke to was happy to pass it as long as it passed a " drive by noise test". But i guess it changes from person to person.

    We were planning on going up to the wine places for the cruise and went and checked them out and the roads were tradgic. If you guys have been there then I'll take your word on it..... What roads are you planning on taking BLACK WARRIOR ?

    We organised a cruise out there a few months ago but you guys will freak when you see the roads out there, they are so bad. We got to to outskirts of Cessnock and they were dirt tracks. So we cancelled it. I'm so not taking my car out there, I cant afford a 3rd respray :LOL:

    The cheap manifolds will crack. As rbsilvia said they need further work on them before you fit them to the engine.

    Hey all I have a fair build up of oil, dirt and other gunk inside my turbos and was wondering what the best way of cleaning them out without removal? What solvents are safe to use - degreaser etc? Any thoughts JD

    I have a set of 6 RB25DET standard coil packs for a Series 1. They work perfectly and are in good condition with no cracks, only were sold as I got Splitfires. The car has about 82,000 km's on it. $180.00 posted

    We are in, its clearing over here. Coasties we will be there 11am at the latest.

    It's pretty big I've been to a cruise to the same spot and there was about 300 or so. I think it holds about 500 cars. If there are any problems with the parking we can just go up the road to the bowling alley, there is plenty of parking and figure out what to do from there. If all else fails we can drop into my dad's place for some paddock drifting and a bbq and beers hahahaha.
