  1. Hey guys,

As part of a new area of my business I am developing bolt-on brake kits for all sorts of cars. To start with I'll be making 5+ of one particular kit, it doesn't matter what car, but I thought the R31 could be good as there isn't much around that just bolts on.

So here is what the kit includes:

    Alcon 4 spot monoblock calliper.

330mm slotted 2 piece discs with alloy hats

    Braided lines

    Steel calliper mounts

Winmax W1 brake pads (these are brand new to Australia from Japan and were recently launched at WTAC)

Everything is high quality and will be a bolt on replacement. These will be $3399.

I know it's not cheap but getting something custom made of this quality will cost upwards of $4500.

Anyone interested? What car have you got? Could possibly do one-off kits too.

  2. Hey guys,

I'm in the midst of designing a toe/bump steer correction kit so that owners of 30 and 31 Skylines can run S13 coilovers with S13 uprights.

Would love to know how many are interested in this. Am thinking they'll be around the $150 - $175 mark, or I'll do them for $1300 with a set of G-Force coilovers.

I'll probably only get 10-15 kits made to start with so please let me know an idea of numbers.

    Cheers

    Peter

  3. Finally got the seat mounts done. Been a while coming but can now finally start on the cage as it really determines when the main roll hoop will be.

Also discovered an issue with the rear coilovers. As the coilovers run external canisters and the canisters are in a fixed position relative to the bottom mount, they stick out to where ther wheel should be. Can't even mount up a standard wheel. Not to worry I have spoken to a machinist and we're going to machine another bit out of the bottom mount and rotate the canister about 120 degrees so it faces as far around as possible.

As a side note I will be designing and manufacturing bump steer correction kits for 30 and 31 Skylines who want to run S13 front uprights. So much easier to run S134 stuff than to find DR30 coilovers! Unless you've got the $$ to do custom stuff.

  4. Hey guys,

Everything listed above has to go. Nothing other than the rear brakes has been sold. Come and take the lot off me and save me having to take it to the tip. These parts are going on ebay for more than I'm asking here. Find them a better home and take them off my hands!

That's right, this stuff is now FREE.

Am pulling stuff off the car today so might not answer my phone. Txt me 0403306440

  5. Hi guys,

I have a heap of parts that I've stripped out of my DR30 (because it's now a race car) so I have the following for sale.

Complete A/C - Was working and was degassed before removing. No interior switches/panels, but everything else (compressor, condenser, core, piping wiring etc) - $75

    Power steering pump - $25

Wiring harness and computer - $125

    Chassis harness - $50

Front and rear struts - $75 (all 4) - wont separate

Front brakes - $75 (disc, pads and rotors) - wont separate

Rear brakes - $75 (discs pads and rotors) - wont separate

Other small bits and pieces from $1

Everything located in Sydney. I can arrange freight at buyers expense.

All in good working condition, not negotiable on price as they are cheap. Pulling brakes and suspension out of car this weekend.

    Txt me on 0403306440

  6. It's been a while since an update... I've been busy re-wriring... The new loom weighs about 1/10th of the old one and I'm using some nice military connectors so that any engine bay wiring can be disconnected at the firewall (whether for an engine change or whatever).

I managed to get the seat mounted really nicely on the factory runners but when I sat in it and my knees were hard up against the smaller than standard steering wheel and my head was almost touching the roof I thought this is not good. So I've got in touch with a young fabricator who is currently fabbing up a custom set-up that will be welded into place through a cut floor. We reckon we should be able to mount the seat at least 100mm lower than it was, which it really needs to be considering the height my head will be with a helmet on and wanting to keep the main hoop of the cage as low as possible.

Thanks to changes to the Improved Production rules I can now run the cage to the strut towers. The bad news is that the dry sump tank which sat behind the strut tower will now be put aside and a Petterson tank added in the boot. I might just modify the existing dry sump tank to become the overflow.

I've also been busy with some carbon sheet and epoxy resin making up dashboard and switch panel bits and pieces... which are now finished and ready to be fitted along with all the switch gear and cutout.

The seat will be mounted next weekend and then after that the cage will start... so much has been waiting on the cage. Can't put the dash in until the cage is in so I can cut it up to fit. Can't flock the dash until the dash is cut. Can't finalise the wiring until the dash is fitted.

It never ends, but we're making progress... slowly.

  7. Hey guys,

Got my factory AC, front brakes, all 4 struts for sale. Only thing missing from the AC is the dash controls as I am still using the standard dash. Have all other switches, wiring etc.

Open to offers. I still have the standard suspension and brakes in the car but will remove once I have a buyer.

    PM me.

    Cheers
