  1. Argh the options. Slip mentioned that the 4wd was only engaged when the rear wheels lost traction... does that mean that you will not lower power thru the drive shaft when it is not engaged, or will you still lose more power like all 4wd's? Also, how much heavier is the GTS4? I'm a big guy , and with me and the girlfriend in the car, it's gonna be a lot of extra weight on that poor 2.0 l motor.
  2. Thanks for the advise guys! I think a gtst would be the way to go, my logic is for the extra amount that a gts4 would cost, I could get a nice gtst with a few mods, that would go just as hard. I'm driving a front wheel drive at the moment and i HATE it, just can't wait to drive a powerful rwd car again. Now I just hope that when it comes time for me to import, there are still plates left. Morgs, what do you have, and how much? I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a local sale, but all the private sales i've seen in SA want $16000 + which is an absolute joke for a r32 (in stock form).
  3. Heya ppl, another noobish question so bear with me. I'm wanting to import an r32 in Janurary next year. I've heard something along the lines that they are running low on compliance plates ... does that mean basically that if I wait this long, I simply wont be able to import? Or is this a temporary situation with the supply being low. I understand now that compliance is around $3000 for an r32, is that expected to go up by Janurary. Sorry for the questions, just hoped that someone who is a bit more knowledgable in teh import scene would be able to helps. Cheers in advance.
  4. If you dont mind me asked, how much did the gtr front cut set you back? Or if you do mind me asking, what are they currently going for roughly
  5. I'm looking at importing an R32 early next year before the import regulations change, so at the moment i'm doing as much research as I can into exactly what I should get. I'm still debating whether or not it's worth paying the extra amount to get a GTS4 vs a GTST.... what do you guys think? What concerns me is that if I go for a GTS4 I will have less overall vehicles available to make my choice from. Also, fuel consumption will be worse, and I'll lose more power thru the drive train, which I can't really afford on a 2.0 l engine. Would it still be worthwhile or should I stick with a GTST and get a nice one? Any other advice or suggestions as to what to get would be gratefully accepted.
