Yep, in all honestly i couldn't agree more. In my experience its only through the results and those already using it that convinced me of its benfits. I'm definately no salesman and as such without a product this effective and unique then I definately wouldn't be doing it. I'm no chemist but basically many fleet companies that are using Roil have tripled their change periods, I'm not 100% sure of the reasons why except that thorugh testing the oil coming out after 3 times was still cleaner than it used to come out at normal interval. All those that tried Roil on this forum (to my knowledge) didn't drain oil first, instead left the oil that was already in there. Roil requries movement to bond, and as such won't ussually attack things its not ment to. Remember that Roil doesn't contain suspended solids like most other friction fighting additives, instead it treats the metal directly to lower its co-effecient of friction, and won't effect the opperation of piston rings etc. This is mainly because roil bonds to metal, it doesn't coat it. I will admit though that roil isn't recommended for LSDs, or wet clutches in motorcylces, though i have seen both done with no evident loss. Build up is a big one. Roil actually cleans the varnish and residue that high temperatures form in an engine. I put roil into a mate's 1980 KE55 Corolla only to have the block leak at the bottom where some rubbish had previously been holding it together (similar to when you add coolant to a car that hasn't had it for a while and it starts leaking). As for point 9 i can say this: Neways has been around since 1987, is totally debt free, doesn't have to answer to sharedholders, and is the fastest growing MML company in the world... I know you guys won't have that same beleive as me, but i don't wanna be out a great job come next year (or the year after) either... Cheers budy... thanks for you input.

Well said buddy...... Actually It'll be good for all of us if Enrico gets dynoed, cause I've just realised that I've never actually seen a graph for a turbo car, plenty of NA, and heaps of by the pants stories and reliabilty benifits, but never actually a dyno grpah... and as turbo cars seem to benifit more (the whole better responce and lag thing) it should be interesting to see..
-
Guys I've got a back to back dyno (750km's) of a Monaro CV8, basically it had 9hp more in the midrange and around 4 at peak power. Not much, but all this coming from basically reducing what is otherwise drivetrain loss. I've got the dyno graph but it was modified to suit a magazine and as such hardly represents a real dyno graph... Its actually Russell White's car and I'll be ringing him tomorrow to track down an original one that has some credit... and i'll put it up as soon as i get. If anyones interested I'll email them the other one, but its not worth me putting it up here as it is at the moment, as it will get 'shot to pieces', get my drift. EnricoPalazzo I'm told is getting his done soon so we'll see how that goes...

As for the farm claims... beleive me, ask those who have tried Roil, I've claimed nothing i could back, and if i really wanted to i could send you a 2 hour video tape of interviews with at least 5 seperate farmers from the dalby/oakey area, the Gregyhound Pioneers Bus interview, the full story regarding the Sainty drag racing story, Queensland meet works using it in their screw compresses to save money on electricity bills, and plenty more.... i could....... But then you sound like the kinda person who beleives in trickphotography anyway......

The Official Jaguar Magazine, published by Jaguar Australia: http://www.jaguarmagazine.com/techtips/ttips6.html I'll post you a hard copy of the article if ya think i'm making this one up too.....
-
Your trying to tell me that Roil hasn't been thoroughly field tested? Yeah right mate, litterally every second farm in South Western QLD uses Roil in its machinary, and I'm not going to go through the list of race cars and motorsport that its involved in for the infinate time, u either geddit or you don't.... and above all, Jaguar recommend it.......... that's prove enough for me......

"Run in Rubbish"... yeah right budy, both Ska and Steve clearly explained that it took at least 350-400kms to notice a difference.... As for the reputable manufactuer bit... are you trying to say that I wouldn't been shot down by Ska, Steve and EnricoPalazzo even if it was in fact all bullshit??? Doesn't really matter where it comes from, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, and it'll still get shot to pieces...
-
Alright... i've put my ass on the line, i've given out free samples for people to test and report on, all of which have come back brilliant so far, I've shown you the proof, told you who uses it, I'm not going to waste by time debatting it with you any longer... And i'm also donating money from the sale of Roil to the forum... but jeez, i'd hate to be making a living now wouldn't I [sARCASM]

As for 'aligning the molecules', if you actually knew the first thing about chemistry, you'd know that's that's exactly what a catalyst does!!! I never claimed that Bi-tron was anything special, all i said was that neways has a background in motoring despite how it may look.
-
Well Greyhound Pioneer have tripled their oil change intervals in their buses... but why beleive them? EnricoPalazzo, thanks mate, I know it takes alot to think outside the square sometimes.
-
Also Neways hasn't just evolved into making Roil, they've had it from the beginning. The founder of Neways, Tom Mower, was the cheif chemist behind Bi-Tron, which was a good product, but not great. They work on similar principles but once he had the extra research and developement funds and the ability to control his own company, Roil was always going to be a far superiour product. I can understand the dificulty in understanding how a personal car products company has the kind of results they do with engine conditioners, but the results I've seen myself, those who have personally endorsed it, and the high profile companies and motorsport groups that are using it at the top level was proof enough for my to get involved. For what it may be worth Tom Mower was also the first american to receive a Russian Knighthood for the safety and effectiveness of Neways non-toxic health care products... You've only got to ask anyone who's acutally tried Roil to know that it stands up to all it claims.

Mobil has nothing to gain by causing engine failures, and when did i ever claim something so f**king ridiculous. And obviously by the graph Mobil engineers didn't get it wrong... it clearly shows that Mobil makes the best engine oil of those tested, including the rather disapointing magnatec. Oil companies aren't going to include an additive that extends oil life now are they??? People expect to change their oil regularly anyway, so engineering it into oil would mean nothing but huge loses for those companies involved. But since your right it seems that myself, Australia's Land Speed Record Holder, Australia's 2000 National Drag Champion, Various German Carrera Cups Racers, The Holden Performance Driving Centre, The WRX Experience, Brett Peter's Bathurst 24hr Class winning WRX, Australian V8 Supercars, Couriers Please, and too many more to mention must of got it wrong... as well as our biggest endorser, a little known car manufactuer that you may just have heard of... JAGUAR! Sorry for the sarcasm budy but that's just how it is.
-
That's right.... and then your gearbox is ussually around 4L as well, so that's about 100mL, and then the other 60mL or so is for the power steering... its tight, but ussually u'll do them all. I think the bit your missing is that it doesn't need to be added after every oil change as its not lost in the process, after 750-1000km its no longer in the oil as its hydrochemically bonded to the metal. Although its not necessary most people do top-ups, of about 50-100mls, after a change. Sorry for any confusion.
-
All is said was that the gearbox one (fc and auto tranny) are 'average' when compared to Roil Gold, so don't expect the same results. Yep Roil gold replaces all three of the previous ones, (FC, Auto Tranny and Lower engine). As for the Lower Engine that was basically the foundation on what Roil Gold was made on, and as such has the same brilliant results. The falex graph i put up earlier in the thread is a actually two seperate tests done at QUT at different times, one in the days of Roil lower engine treatment, and then since Roil Gold came on the market. The one that has 'Mobil 1 + Roil @12:1' is actually the old lower engine treatment, and the other one 'Mobil 1 + Roil Gold @14:1' is obviously Roil Gold, both which exceeded the machine's capability, so who knows how much better one may be then the other. All i'm saying is definately don't turf the old Lower Engine, its still golden.

$50.10 for a bottle that ussually treats a whole car (engine, gearbox, power steering), for at least 2 or 3 oil changes aint bad. I've seen many complete rebuilds avoided thanks to what the owners beleive to be Roil protecting in the extremes... none less than the 5500hp Australian Drag Champ... but we've been there already. People spend hundreds and thousand of dollars trying to tune drivable boost and better response lower in the rpm range, yet as both Steve and Ska will testify they've both have significant gains from a bottle of metal conditioner worth only 50 bucks... Ska has also just mentioned that because his engine runs more effeciently he's now believes he's saving fuel... From my own tests (1994 Daihatsu Charade CX, 2003 Subaru Forester X, 1999 Subaru WRX) i averaged break even at only 4200kms, and this on fuel savings alone, not factoring in extended oil changes and reliability. The only reason Roil comes in such large quantities (and big $$$) is because so many fleet, trucking, and transportation companies now use Roil as part of their regular service. It would be awkard and expensive using 480mL to treat entire truck fleets, as most also use it in their hubs aswell and gearbox, engine, etc. Cheers guys...
-
Yep, Roil Gold for both Engine and Gearbox, and power steering!
-
Mick and Roy soak litterally all their parts in Roil during their engine rebuilds. And yep there was a major problem, the oil cooler shat itself and splated oil everywhere... knowing that everything was protected by Roil they continued on, and beleive me they did run a 5.7 with no oil... Australian Dragster Magazine has on quote that they beleived that Roil got them across the finish line as their were interviewed imediately after the run... As for castrol magnatec, i'm no scientist either, and as such i leave claims up to the experts, and this is what the Queensland University of Technology found when they tested Roil against other products and additives.... All three Roil samples exceeded the machines capability to test lubricants as it was never expected to have to test such high extremes... 4500lbs+... who knows how far it would've gone?

Thanks Steve... ferni, Roil only needs a full treatment to begin with, and then top ups after every second or third oil change. N/A, I'll be the first to admit that Neways originally had problems with the Super Glide FC. Originally they had three different Roil products for use in oil, the lower engine treatment was brilliant whilst the Super Glide was rather average. Since then, about 2 years ago Neways brought out Roil Gold, which replaced all three of the other products and was GREATLY improved, that's what the guys have been trialling now... for that reason I've got no quams about recommending Roil Gold for the gearbox as in those two years we've had nothing but glowing reports, most notibally Russell White Formula Vee Race Car, and the hubs on Brett Peter's Class Winning WRX racecar at the 2002 Bathurst 24hr. Only weeks before the event someone suggested they try Roil, they were skeptical and refused to use it in their engine and gearbox, so they tried it in the hubs which from testing they expected to have to replace 3 times during the race. They went on to do the entire distance, plus two further race meetings on the same hubs! Also Russell White is an instructor at the Holden Performance Driving Centre and last week informed me that both that centre and the WRX Experience on the Gold Coast have used Roil for quite some time now.... Guys I'll put it to you this way... by jumping onto a forum in which i knew nobody, and trying to promote a product that i knew would be bombarded with skeptics, and then giving out free sample products to you guys to test and report on, if Roil didn't work i had nothing to gain and absolutely everything to lose. My reputation, Neways' reputation, and that of Roil itself.... and that's not a risk i would've taken if i didn't have 150% faith in my product and its ability to work under all circumstances... and like Steve and Ska's reports prove... nothing but good news... Try it... give it a go... don't judge it until you have... and hey... I'm still going to donate $5 from every bottle to Prank and the Skyline Forum...
-
Here's a couple of gearbox specific stories I've had for a while... I don't except you guys to beleive them, but they're there all the same.... I'd love to get some Skyline ones though.....

What's Royal Purple? -
Both s13drifter and Ska claimed to have had considerable decreases in turbo lag, and that's just on this forum... without wanting to refer to 'testimonials' again, beleive me, this is very common thing amongst turbo cars that have used roil. Remember that Roil isn't a lubricant, it actually treats the surface of metal to produce a lower co-efficient of friction, and as such its only natural that something that spins as fast a turbo given lest friction will spool up faster... Each to his own... but i've seen the results first hand.

Go for it! If it only had half the effect of what we get in Scania truck gearboxes, u'll be amazed... PM me if your interested. -

Jeez... that couldn't have been said that any better... that's ****ing unreal... well said buddy, i know exactly what a ya mean!
