  3. Yeh guys I can't wait to go back 2 years ad get another turbo car... I have had turbo cars and this is my first na. They are both unique in their own ways, and the na is a hell of a lot more fun / challenging to drift. And of course captain natro you have driven one to its limits, you are such a hero And all you people that say you can drift anything are so stupid and have never done this, go drive straight again and practice your doses
  4. Am I arguing? And the thread is are n/a's slow or is everyone talking out their ass. N/a's are slow, but all of you, talk out your asses about what their capabilities are, when you have never really driven one to their limits.
  5. The only slow thing is you, I have said like 10times now I don't care about power or speed, I wouldn't like na's if I did...
  6. Oh look! Some more evidence that na's take skill to drift over high powered cars. This time from 2 d1 world champs But I mut be talking out my ass and an 'na fanboy' whatever that is?
  7. Again guys I do have a space shuttle in my garage. I am not going to post pics cus I don't need to prove it to you guys. And just cus your fit doesn't make you tough lol, the bigger guys are always the funniest to watch fight. Just cus you sit in a room and lift weights and eat clean food doesn't mean your Bruce lee lol. And again your 1/4mile will be as boring as watching paint dry. 'oh look how quickly that car is moving in a straight line, that would of cost him heaps...'
  8. Yeh I'm not offended, I'm not new to this forum, been here for almost a year, just cus I don't have 10,000 posts also doesn't make me inferior. I just use this forums to buy parts, I don't really use the forum for advice as its biased and too many champs here trying to be funny/pay out on others. Shirtstuckedin is hardly underground either, but nice try insulting me. I am no drift king, just having fun and have the evidence to back my claims (Which I am yet to see anyone on here also do) a lot of you people have trouble realizing this and should get their heads out of their asses and stop trying to talk down to me. I would guarantee none of you's would say this to my face if you were ever to see me
  9. Yeh I'd just like to see everyone's personal videos of them doing their sport whether is be drift, drag or circuit. Every one seems to be experts but again. No proof. And using underwear out of vending machines? I was clearly talking about the car scene, good work! Jump on shirtstuckedin.com guys. It's a blog, he travels to Japan all the time. He has over 40,000 followers because he understands drift an Japanese culture and understands n/a's are just as awesome in their own way. Get rid o your redneck mindset that just cus it isn't fast that it is shit And as with the school holidays quote, funny aye. You probs have a shit paying job and spend your night scrolling through chat roulette stroking yourself in front of guys. Drifting an na is cheap btw. Like I said, I have had no dramas with my car, I use 2nd hand tyres and get them for free. And a morning session at qr costs 120. Please tell me how it is expensive? Again, PLEASE LINK ME A VIDEO OF 'YOU' DOING BETTER BEFORE YOU TRY INSULT ME!
  10. Oh god... I am outnumbered, better surrender an buy a commodoore. Nick coulsons car is barely a commo anymore and he owned an r32 before that. Japan may have made some bad things but they have also made more good things then any other country. I don't see how I am barely drifting my skyline either? Still yet to see a video from any of you 'gurus of drift'. What is wrong with 4stud btw? All the old school genuine Japanese wheels are 4stud. And I have gtst brakes on mine that I got for free off a mate. And if anyone would like my signature I am happy to give it out. Seems you's are having trouble getting your overpowered cars sideways, I'd be happy to show you how to do with a third of the power. Enjoy spending your hard earned money on something that is just going to get looked past.
  11. Yeh can't wait til I have a blown commie, so I can move at 10kmh while frying tyres hahaha Also above guys new to stop saying 'give this to that car' or 'If this car had this' it would win or 'if the race were longer and rolling start'. Who cares, that's not the case! That's like saying, yeh my n/a skyline will beat your r33 if I had a 15second start and you were missing 2 cylinders and it was a 200m race. Who races over 1km? Seriously? Gtr beats the Shelby cus its a better car. Don't say what is needed for the Shelby to win, cus if you just add a corner the 35 will just show it up again
  12. Wow... That must of taken a lot of skil..... I mean money to do something so pointless and bogan. I feel like I am growing a mullet and losing teeth by watching that clip
  13. Please tell me where a monaro is regarded as a drift car anywhere in the world? It would of been a piss take saying it was fun. Like you in your jazz lol. And wtac is in no way growing faster then drifting. Drifting is becoming more popular because it is a freestyle sport. It's not about times, scores and points. It's about at the end of the day you hda an awesome time with mates. And can just have fun. It's also cheap and is the most fun you can have in a car, when you remove your emotional attachment with a car and just drive is when you will truly enjoy Motorsport. And I know from everything you's have said that you definitely know a lot more then me about circuit/drag racing. But you will never be competitive at it. Unless you win the lotto tomorrow. But I know that you know very little about drifting and think of it as kids sport, but I don't ever have to worry about being competitive because their is no times/points/score for me to be disappointed with at the end of the day. And I know I am spending thousands of dollars less then you's and have double the fun
  14. Yes lock it in. I just think the people opinions of drifting on here is a little different to what drifting actually is. Like ACA thinking ken block is a drifter. There is a difference between drifting and 'the car is sideways'
  15. Again I have agreed with you like 3pages ago they are not fast. I'm saying to drift them.
  16. Again people talking without experience an using the 'in my opinion' or 'what I reckon' quotes. Please give the OP actually facts and not your opinions. And a commodoore should never drift. It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. And yes, if it is cool in Japan it is cool here or will be soon. Japanese made the car and know how to do it right, Aussie bogans and Americans on the other hand have this mentality that power is the most important thing with building a track car. I know yous will continue arguing with me all day. But in the end all iv heard is everyone giving a car (that they have never tracked) a bad name and then suggesting cars such as commodoore and s2k's to a guy who can either not afford one or will just be givin shit and let down by the other. And it is possible to own a street legal skyline and drift it. You don't have to have them 20mm of the ground with wheels sitting right outside the guards. People just do that out of choice.
  17. Old as f**k quote "straight roads are for fast cars, winding roads are for fast drivers" Drags are simply who has the most money, this does not interest me one bit. Like drifting doesn't interest you. But I can show up to a Wednesday night and people will laugh at my times, but you can show up at a morning drift session and people will laugh at your driving. And as for the mods, I care for them the same way i do for drag racing... Not a lot. They only got those because they either know someone or they have a high post count. I just thought a mod should only comment and give advice on topics they were more familiar with?
  18. Again judging because you think I am young and dumb. My skyline is not my only car, I have owned 8 cars now. I am not saying that they are the best. I am saying that they will teach a young driver skills that a commodoore (which has been recommended) cannot offer. Again, you's are biased, because you have never done it. Don't think that I don't enjoy turbo cars as well or enjoy doing circuits and time attack. I can post videos of me drifting a 320kw Silvia. Although I am the one being classed as the keyboard warrior yet I have proof of my claims. You's all say what you have seen an done but have nothing to prove it. The fact to that you think the best drifting you have ever seen has been in a 4wd shows you don't know much about the drift scene and that the stereotype of being a 'hectic drifter' is quite funny when you are insulting the fastest growing Motorsport in Australia. Also I have a space shuttle in my garage, il post pics later guys but trust me, it's there.
  19. I can't get through to you.... If you 'have a drift' at the end of a track day, you clearly aren't a drifter and can't give advice. Na cars are in no way competition cars for drifting as professional drifting isn't just about driver skill, but teamwork and car development where na's are simple and would require no team. They would also not be competitive in a competition as comps are often large tracks to produce smoke and do high speeds. Get an n/a skyline in the mountain against a d1 and watch and laugh as the laggy d1 car waits to spool up on the tight mountain road. Mountains are where drifting has and always will belong. You say drifting with power is harder as you can loop easier with more right foot but then compare them to a daihatsu? So all p platers should be right to learn to drift in ls1 r33's? And since buying my car I have done 6track days and a 24hr matsuri. Only troubles iv had is had to buy a larger radiator as qld track temps are insane. I do an oil change between every track day and i drive the car to and from the track. But nah, that's not reliable...
  20. All of yous are commenting on what is good and bad at drifting but then say you don't drift yourselves? Puts you in a good place to be commenting.... And d1 is a spectator sport, like you said, crowds like to see smoke, when you's one day leave your computer chairs and visit the motherland you will realize the love the Japanese have for na rb's and sr's along with 4age ae86's. But with both of you admitting you don't drift and having single minded opinions I really don't think you's should be giving advice to someone who may be purchasing a cheap, reliable na skyline that he will learn to have a lot of fun in and teach valuable skills without wrapping himself around a pole or losing his license due to restrictions.
  21. Have you ever watched d1? Tell me they don't use their handbrake? and watch my video, I do weight transfers (scandos) on entries as well and I have 99kw? Just because you have 10,000+ posts on a forum doesn't mean you know more then everyone man. I'm still waiting to see your video of you drifting. I don't know you, but you come across as a guy who thinks he knows a whole lot and is some kind of a guru because of his post count. I don't see how you can give advice on drifting when I would put money on that me at the age of 19 can probs link a track better then you can in my standard 32.
  22. Scroll back 2 or 3 pages and watch my video I posted of me at QR? And I have been to Japan 3 times and going back in march. I never said sils and skylines weren't preset in early drifting. But by you saying that you had trouble driving your 86 just goes to show that your level of driving skill isn't very high, therefore you go to a turbo car and say they are 'better' when you really mean its 'easier'
  23. Oh and btw I am not stating in any way that my car is 'fast'. What I'm saying is don't say you can't drift them or they are gutless. Especially when you have never tried!
