  1. You clearly haven't been to Japan... Where do you think drifting came from? It all started with n/a cars in the mountains. I can guarantee you have never drifted an n/a car before an don't realize the fun/enjoyment that comes from having to throw a car around rather then making the car 'break into a powerslide'. And you're a fool of you think you can't get angle in an na. Just type ae86 drift on YouTube and watch the first vid. Feathering power 'which you power boys' claim to be difficult is not hard. I have drifted plenty of turbo cars. It simply makes drifting easier. Na is a challenge and makes for a better driver. An what I mean by not using a dyno is gunna cost you money I mean that if it doesn't see a dyno it means it doesn't see a tune which means things are going to break. Although you wouldn't have any of those problems from the start of you had an n/a. Also I'd love to see a video of YOU drifting. Feel like you're just all talk. Probs never broken into a drift at 140kmh in your life hahaha
  2. Shame that's not you driving. And the fact you picked a poor example of n/a drifting. The reality is, if you go to Japan, n/a drivers are more respected because of the skill that is required to drift. Look at all the 86's that drift. It takes no skill to 'unleash 350+kw' any f**kin bogan can put his foot down. But to throw an underpowered car into the same lines takes 100% more driver skill. And if your car doesn't go on dynos you're gunna be spending money on more than just tyres...
  3. Where is the fun in that? Come back to me when you can actually drift and not just talk big cus you made a pretty number on a dyno. Power is overrated
  4. If I get 2nd hand tyres with about 70-90% tread I will go throug a pair in an hour but brand newies last upto 2hrs
  5. NA's are awesome! Everyone that says they are gutless and cant drift just dont know how to drive! I have an r32, na rb20 with a locked diff and some second hand coilovers and I can link almost anything. Enter fast, throw hard and keep in high rpm and you will have more fun then anyone else on track! Here is a clip of me with other N/A mates at QLD Raceways all drift day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcfD1dfYaTU NA is hands down more reliable to!

  8. Hey mate, you selling rear pods and skirts? and are you negotiable on price for the full cage and does it include the crossmember?
  9. What type of tein coilovers are in it? i know you are not keen to part out but would you sell the rear coilovers and I can give you stock nissan springs?
  10. Fair point, How difficult is it getting the GTR to RWD? I know you can remove a fuse i believe? but is there more to it than that? also is it worth still doing the handling and cosmetic mods to the N/A and then just changing over to the new car when i get it, or are most parts between the gts and gtr incompatible?
  11. Hey all, new to skyline australia and figured best place to ask the questions. I currently am on my P-plates in Queensland and own a 1993 R32 GTS 2door. I bought the car off a mate and comes with an untouched rb20de showing around 160,000kms. Only mods done to the car are genuine sparco deep dish steering wheel, tein hr coilovers, advanti 17x8.5 wheels, exedy heavy duty clutch, solid rear cradle bushes, locker, pig pipes and stripped interior. The car has already seen a couple of track days at QR aswell as many industrials . However I am only on my P's for another 9months and am looking at my future options with the car. I am planning on further modifying the cars cosmetics (kit, new wheels, roof spoiler) and modifying the handling and suspension (adjustable arms, strut bars etc.) for the remaining 9 months as these are the only modifications as I am allowed to do. Engine wise I am wanting to replace the rb20de with a rb26det (single turbo). What I am asking is if anyone has done this conversion from a non-turbo gts before or whether I am wasting my time and should just look into selling as I go on my open license. I understand the hassles with converting to the 26 such as gearbox from awd to rwd and the adjustment to the sump and wiring etc. Any advice or assistance would be great, look forward to hearing everyones thoughts and opinions. Cheers,
