  1. my friends DEAD stock 350zx did 1:16's then he got some SEmi's RE55's and managed to get 1:13's still dead stock but with SEMI's Very fast time IMO but 1:11 in a R33 gts25t with Azenis is damn good!
  2. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html This website will tell you have much a differene your speedo will be if you change to another tyre size. For example put your standard rims/tyre sizes in R33 Gts25t is 205/55/16 then put in the size of the tyres of the rims you want to get like 18" so 265/35/18" or 265/40/18" and see the difference in diameter my 2 c
  3. i've got a pair check your PM
  4. Very interested in the RIMs, Where are you located?
  5. DUNLOP FORMULA RSV 98SPEC I've tried many searches on forums and yahoo.com & google.com and can't find any usual information in ENGLISH hahaha. Is anyone currently using these on their cars? Are they Semi slicks or just street tyres? -If semi slicks how do they compare to RE55's Yoko A032R, Toyo RA1's etc. -Are they very sticky? How is there tire life? Cheers, ANY INFORMATION will great THANKS GUYS!
  6. If you wanted R34 headlights to fit you'll have to get: 1. R34 Headlights $500-1000approx 2. R34 Bonnet $500-1000approx 3. R34 Frontbar (or aftermarket) $450-600?approx 4. URAS or Dude bee racing panels (which were made specificially for the purpose of fitting R34 parts on a R33) + spraying guards estimated $800-1000, 5. Then you gonna get everything sprayed to match the colour of your car $500-$1000? So all up if you wanted to do it at least $2500-$5000 IMO its not worth doing, my 2 cents i don't think its worth it IMO. my 2 cents

  8. Sorry MODS, posted it twice please delete
  9. Stock S15 200sx wheels are: 16 x 6.5jj same as the r33/s14 stock rim sizes tyres usually the same as well 205/55/16 or 225/50/16 Question for Original: Are these rims the NORMAL s15 rims (silver) or the later GT-Spec s15 rims? (chrome Like, but not fully chrome)
  10. Mechanic(whom built the engine) said compression around 8.0.1 or there abouts. Yes Bonnet was down/closed, tuner said it'll give more realistic figures so that can justify the extra heat. actuator? Whats that again? Is that the spring on the turbo which adjusts the boost? Well i'm running an apexi avc-r (current model) if your refer to boost solonied. Internal Wastegate in turbo, also forgot the mention (tomei/or sard fuel regulator can't remember)
  11. 1. Not a stock exhaust (Fujitsubo Super Legalias R), 2. 3 inch Dump/front pipe right after the back of the turbo, 3. Standard R33 Gts25t AFM, (been told that there is no point of me changing it to a z32 since i only have 210rwkw) 225-230+ require Z32 correct me if i'm wrong. FROM what others suggest its possible its just the turbos problem. i've pin pointed it down to these possible causes 1. Turbo obviously too small 2. Dump/Front pipe (3" too big maybe, for this small turbo so it can't compress the air <same concept as having a 4" or 5" exhaust on a N/A lancer that would perform better with a 2 1/2"> 3. AFM (i doubt it tho, at this power range 210rwkw i've been two by a few tuners that the std one should be able to handle it)
  12. Turbo connects to the 3" dump/front pipe, can't use the standard dump pipe. sorry guys i have read what discopotato posted but i don't really understand it. ''wally's backyard turbo?'' its a genuine garret item tho. (i was always under the impression that a HKS2530 would of been a similar size to a t3/t04, rated around 350hp, and then you get the HKS2540 which is similar size to a T04) hahaha sorry if i'm a bit stupid. but i'm posting at work. i really appreciate all the feedback guys So reckon a NICE big turbo 3037's, GT30 will give me power around 270rwkw?
  13. Isn't a T3/T4 like a garret version of the HKS 2530, or is it smaller?
  14. Thanks for the inputs guy, this is a graph during the early stages of tuning. its not even redline(7000rpm) yet but look at the power drop at top end. i'm pretty sure a r33 gts25t isn't meant to do that in power especially if running at 18.85pounds of boost.(1.3bar)
  15. Not sure exactly on a/r sizes of the turbo, is it usually stamped/printed on the turbo itself? can i usually see it if i don't remove the turbo itself? Its an original garret item that i got brand new about 2 years, i might consider a dyno run without the dump pipe connect and see if i get different results. its 3" turbo dump front pipe to the cat, then the fujuitsubo super legalias R cat back tailpipe is 117mm, main pipe is 70-89.1mm. similar size to my previous exhaust apexi N1.
  16. Hey guys i've got a R33 gts25t series 2 with the following setup: Trust FMIC, Garret T3/t4(rated@350hp i think) t3 flange std mounting position, Trust Pod Filter, Custom Stainless steel Turbo dump/front pipe(liverpool exhaust), Catco Hiflow cat, Fujitsubo Super Legalis R catback. Apexi Powerfc, Apexi Avc-r set at @1.3bar(18.85pounds). Also Tomei Metal Headgasket so lower compression, Cp Forged Pistons Shot-peen rods, Sard 550cc injectors, Nismo Fuel Pump. engine rebuilt 12000kms ago. Now i've got all the details out of the way this is the problem. got it dyno tuned with Hitman a while back i'm VERY happy with his service and the tune TOP BLOKE, HONEST just like how others has described his skills and expertise and the results are; [email protected] or 18.85pounds@ around 5000rpm (REDLINE on graph) AND [email protected] or 14.5pounds. (BLUE line on graph) i hit full boost nice and early around 2800-2900rpm on 1.3bar BUT the boost doesn't hold and by the time it approaches redline or even at 5800rpm boost HAS DROP TO 12pounds from 19pounds. and POWER drops too from 5000rpm onwards NO TOP END. We did Mutiple runs hitman spent a good 1 1/2 hours after the final tune trying to keep the boost up but nothing work, tested the cat and its not the cat set the boost controll or full 100% solonied duty no good also. Knocking level on POWERFC less then 20 on the Handcontroller so its pretty good. HOW COME BOOST DROPS SO MUCH??? WHY IS THERE NO TOP END??? Is it the TURBO or maybe something else? any opinions??...
  17. What is the offset on the rims? are they off a GTR or GTS? the offset is usually stamped inside the rim +20,+30,+32 etc
  18. http://www.shaohaok.com/videos/SportivovTypeS.wmv This is a clip of a TOYOTA COROLLA SPORTIVO(141kw) VS A INTEGRA TYPE-S (153kw) This will give some credit to the SPORTIVO for all those honda lovers and toyota haters anywayz (i've personally race off the lights a INTEGRA TYPE-R (dc5) driving a integra TYPE-S (dc5) and vice versa (i know a couple who owns one each, the guy drives the TYPE-R and his gf the TYPE-S anywayz the result was pretty even each time STOCK VS STOCK that is 2003 model TYPE-R and 2004/2005 model TYPE-S. i drove both and then we switch drivers. this was hitting 8500rpm gearshifts in both cars for both drivers. So just as a comparsion to let people know that the INTEGRA type-S isn't much slower or even slower at all compared to a TYPE-R. around wakefield a few trackdays ago someone bought there Corolla Sportivo on the track STOCK and did 1:16. i still give my THUMBS up for the Sportivo for the price you pay for it. low $30k compared to a low $40k new car. my 4c
  19. GTR33's price from $35-$55k GTR32's price from $25-$35k GTS25t R33 Series 2 $18k - $24k GTS25t R33 Series 1 FROM $15k-20k These are only MY ESTIMATES no offence ppl, in this case you have a 1993 r33 GTs25t, so its the OLDEST r33 you can pick one up from around 15k, + say $10k for the GTR engine with turbos and install tuning etc, so i say the price of this car is from $25k-$30/33k i wouldn't PAY anymore then $33k because you can get a REAL GTR33 for that price.
  20. Aren't SKYLINE known for having INLINE 6's hence why they call them Skylines? across all breeds of skylines (r31-r34) carry a INLINE 6, + this + that so we would expect the least; INLINE 6 TWIN TURBO 4WD round tail lights hahaha 6 more days to lift off!
  21. Toyota Corolla Sportivo 141kw 180Nm VVTi-L 1.8L 1185-1200kg Toyota Camry Sportivo 145kw 279Nm V6 3.0L 1515-1545kg a Camry sportivo is just another 3.0L V6 camry with a bodykit (not really a sportivo IMO- to correct Lo R33 no offence buddy) a Corolla Sportivo on the other hand is a corolla with a celica engine the standard corolla has 100kw. but with leather and all it is heavier car compared to the standard ascent/conquest/levin models. IMO: from reading various posts on ozhonda with people driving Integra Type-r's struggling to out run a corolla sportivo in a straight line. the integra vti-r (125kw, 173Nm, 1114kg) would lose to a corolla sportivo IMO. camry sportivo v6 are slow for a new car i reckon its a good bang for your buck for low 30k BRAND NEW drive away you get a car with leather interior and a nice powerful engine, but i have read that when you shift gears it falls below vtec(vvti-L) zone being one of the major problems, another thing is that people complaining about the seating position being too high or something along those lines. best bet would to be go and test drive one, at the end of the day its your money your choice. my 2c.
  22. 96 GTS does that mean its a 4 stud or 5 stud?
