  1. Thanks Mr_G, i was looking for a responsee like that, i've had my Skyline for 3 years and never been happier, with forums like this one wif DIY guides, the friendliness and helpfuliness of fellow forums members.. I THINK ITS TIME TO *!DONATE!* =)
  2. Personally, i was considering selling my Line for a mazda 3, they look so good, good price.. & practial only reason i don't like the RS is because think of this, its STILL a RS Impreza then a WRX pulls up next to you, then you think to yourself WHY didn't buy one of those? Its got an extra vent + TURBO (you remember how they are? ,you'll have this thing in your head saying, i should of got the WRX) or something different a Mazda 3. btw i don't think the looks of the impreza are too hot... but thats how i feel well thats my 2cent... everyone has different opinions.. UP YOU MY FRIEND GOOD LUCK! =)
  3. After a Trust/Greddy Single 60mm A-Pillar Mount/holder for Skyline R33 gts25t. Second or New (prefer secondhand ) if anyone has one lying around OR Swap for a Twin 60mm A-pillar mount (trust) (because i've got one) PM me or email [email protected]
  4. Recently picked up a set of Reverse El Dials for my R33 gts25t, Was wondering if they are hard to install yourself, are there any DIY guides to it? My Guess; 1. Take off console/dash 2. Remove Dials/clusters 3. Slip the reversel dials over the originals ones, and connect power to somewhere (err.. cigarette lighter power?) 4. Put everything back together Can anyone thats done it themselves before assist/guide me, didn't get any installation instructions so its all by GUESS. =)
  5. Not all electrical greddy guages have warning lights/buttons, http://www.greddy.com/ only the electrical warning guages have warning lights, they are another $50-$70US on top of the price of electrical guages.
  6. r33 Series 2 has different headlights and grill, so the bonnet is slightly different, it curves down where the grill is like the Gtst R32 compared wif GTR and similar to R34 GTT which also curves down. Series 1 doesn't. So you can't fit a series 2 CF on a series 1 unless you change the headlights and grill, (unsure about the front bar) and vice versa
  7. i've been warned once about a year ago for having them on because i was getting RBT, just came back from a wedding, anywayz they gave me a warning and said there can be a fine involved if it happened again. THEN, months after i've told all my mates, one of my friends with a MR2 always who always has them on actually got busted and was fine i think $70. these are the standard foglights on the mr2 not custom. my 2cents.
  8. I rang up autobarn to check the prices of phillips light globes, the Phillips Diamond Vision 5000k H1 i've got in my car cost $145 from AUTOBARN! in my opinion its not worth the money because only for LOOKS but poor for visability for that price you may as well get HID's for $450-500.
  9. yeah i've got a personal loan for 20k, but the interest rate is like 11.95% with CBA compared to 8-10% for car loans, that the disadvantage
  10. yep count me in for a nismo engine oil cap, (if these are genuine items of course)
  11. Revhead: Sorry to correct you but i've got a set of Phillips 5000k temp and they put out a v light-BLUE light. !, so blue i wish they were WHITE, so i only use them as my High beam for looks only but they set me back $100. Seriously its BLUE but it isn't as bright as the normal ugly yellow Usually the temp determines the colour of the light, if you get 4200, 4300k temp then they are yellowish/white, if you get 5000k they are blue, if you get 7500k they get purple, i hope this helps. My set has lasted for over a year, and my headlight is cracked and letting in water where it fogs up but it still ok. its not worth the money and visability is poor, thats all i can say about BLUE light from NON-HID head lights =(
  12. Outside UTS Library in the city, my old pulsar got the back window kicked in and my dad's car got keyed there, another night i was there saw, a car without number plates or badges must have heaps of enemies in the Kensington outside or around UNSW my friend's 200sx got keyed really bad top to bottom, and he lives around that area.
  13. The last corolla i came up against was the boxie style 1989 corolla (usually the 100kw 4age engine) he had 4 guys in the car, he asked me to give him a run and said why not, and to my surprise i heard i BOV go off and thought wtf? he kept up with me til 100, i was the only person in the car with approx 180rwkw, then i talked to him and he said he was running a MR2 engine, then i thought okay that explains it. hahah you never know what your up against til you see results, another time i was in friends stock a block evo 6 1/2 and a ricer 2 door 99 model lancer came up to us FULL STEALTH i swear heard the HKS SSQV go off, and thought HUH? up to 100 he kept up even off launch then after that he blew us away , did some research and discovered that he was running a evo engine with a big ass turbo aiii........... my 2cents worth of past experiences
  14. Are the guages electrical or mechanical? so its boost, exhaust temp and water(oil) temp right? Is the needle fading for the exhaust temp or is it just the picture angle, does the three guage holder fit into a normal single din position where the cd-player rests or does it mount else where?
  15. Excedy <-- think thats how you spell it, Heavy Dutch goes for around $450ish (not include install) Excedy Sports Organic around $800ish installation depends on the guy, i think around 200-$300 hope that gives you a rough idea, on extra HD i really dunno
  16. is it electrical or mechanical? and does it have a cup to cover the back?
  17. I think wrx use a 5x100 PCD while skylines are 5x114.3 so there is no way that they will fit on, in another words the holes won't even match up with the holes hope this helps.
