congrats good to hear. Now the true test of patience awaits with the guys at epa, compliance and so forth. even thou i waited for mine only 3.5 months from begining to end to get registered. It seemed like years. seemed like the procedures/issues were never gonna end.e.g docking, quaranitine, compliance. although, First time i set eyes on it at the sydney storage place. U get the butterflies. Being a rare as chips car here in sydney australia even, u cant stop looking at it as it was the first time i had seen one in the flesh. hahaha all made up for it.

Mine came here with only 90mm front. I couldnt get shi*t under there to change the worn out tyres. Even the mechanic hoists coudnt help as i wasnt able to go over it due to the front bar. Ended up having to use a mini-jack to get it to reasonable height then take the larger jack later on.

Some of you may already be aware of his visit from the diary he keeps on his website (www.r31house.co.jp ). They are also working absolutely flat out to have an R31 House drift car ready and in Australia for the event. Mr Shibata would like to thank all his fans for the emails that he has recieved so far however simply doesn't have the time to keep up with them all. Went to the snow on the weekend. And the amount of teenagers on holidays staring asking me about my car was hilarious. I was at jindabyne (middle of whoop whoop where there are next to nil imports) getting my gear from rebel when i walked out and there were 4 teens hanging around my car as if it was a autosalon car. :wassup: So they asked me if it was a cefiro and i siad yes. Should have seen the look on their eyes. Felt like a movie star. Couldnt help but get a big head. So i took four of em on a little spin a bit down further for a drift around a wide bend. And the poor buggers nearly shit themselves all this on standard boost.. LOL Ended up giving out meggala.com cards to go see his website for importing and so forth. Also the amount of commodore/ford drivers getting terrified as u rip past em on the freeway and your turbo spools/BOV goes off. See their faces as they look at your car at the next town and realize they were outrun by a "family car"

Gee, Too bad some of thses posts were posted while I just spent 6 hours on the freeway going to the snow weekend past and listening to that blasted ding-dong-ding-dong. Got to the hotel and the my head was still makeing the ding-dong sound when i was trying to sleep

Hey man i also had to get bigger spacers becasue of my wheel size on my cef, 17x9.5s. Yeah they stick ou like 5mm. :wassup: cost me 200 bux for a pair of 21mm spacers. Here in sydney. U have to send em your rim thou to match. (since your in vic) Name: Neale Wheels - (02) 9642 1002 Also had to get longer wheels studs as well. 75mm size for 6 bux each as well.
