  1. thanks fellas your all champs, I know its a very slim chance of ever seeing it again but we appreciate it alot.
  2. would you mind giving us the specs on the rs580s? all I heard is they are very similar to N1's so i took my chances and hoping it works out
  3. rated at 320hp each i think. Dont know how they compare to stock turbos. probably spool up a tad later with alot more topend. If you want a nice street car they would be a good upgrade, apparently good for around 300atw, similar in spec to 2530's from what I hear, although all N1's are slightly different from each series. I just bought a set of nismo rs580 turbos so ill see how they go, hopefully alrite.
  4. Sorry fellas forgot to mention stolen from Calamvale, QLD Brisbane. Could be in NSW by now for all we know. As I said we know its a long shot but its worth at least trying. And trust us, if we do find who stole it they will be shot. My dad cant even remember the rego on his trailer but hes not too worried about getting that back, its the kanga we want. Thanks for lookin out, my dad and I both appreciate it alot.
  5. I know its a slim chance but i thought I may as well post this Last monday night (14th Feb) someone came onto my dads property and stole our trailer with our kanga loader (digger) on it. If anyone has seen this, there is a reward of $5000 for information leading to the recovery of these goods. The digger is worth about $30,000 but someone will probably try sell it for $20,000 of even less. So if you hear of anyone with a nice near new digger who bought it "cheap" or trying to off load one let me know. The trailer is fairly old and a dark blue colour (could have been easily resprayed I know, but if they did a bodge home job you could probably still find a trace of the colour underneath.) The kanga loader is green and gold (also could have been resprayed) and is near new, maybe 100 hours on the clock, they got 2 of the post hole borers and the bucket attachment that was also on the trailer too. Dont have any photos of it but heres one off their website. Please call John on 0409 054 345, or pm/email myself at [email protected] if you have any info.
  6. thats what im saying I thought all 3" would be the way to go but hes saying 2x 3" pipes into the 3" cat back wouldnt work. I cant really say "do them in 3inch" when hes supposed to be the exhaust pro and telling me its no good.
  7. The system I will have if this fella does it is 3" dumps, into a 2 1/2" front pipes into 3" catback with highflow cat. even with the 2x 2.5" pipes wouldnt it be like 5" of air going into the 3" cat back so would still make use of it anyway? im no exhaust expert. I would of thought you would of used 3" frontpipes also but this guy says 3" frontpipes into the 3" cat wouldnt work for some reason (although I know alot of these people just talk shit) This guy said he can do the front pipes for about $100! whereas aftermarket ones are about $400-$600 or stupid prices. sure they would be better for performance but I would rather better value for money rather than paying absolute top dollar for a few extra kw.
  8. I have a pair of factory dump pipes off my 33 gtr if thats what you want. bjrose at optusnet.net.au
  9. spot the holden driver in this thread
  10. ive never heard of anyone having 4" dumps, so how are you meant to have a full 3" turbos back exhaust on a gtr. I got 3" dumps and 3" catback, seems a waste putting 2 1/2" y piece on it in the middle and making the 3" cat back useless? or would it still work ok?
  11. so you have 3" dumps into 3" y piece and 3" cat back? I cant see how what this guy is saying about you cant go 2x 3" pieces into the one, sounds stupid to me.
  12. Ive currently got 3" dump pipes from the turbos and a 3" cat back system, still with the standard front pipes. The zorst shop said going from twin 3" into a single 3" before the cat would be no good as it would be "too much airflow" (which I thought would be good for the system) and would just somehow get blocked going into the single 3" pipe. Also whats the story with the flex pipe, why is it only on one pipe and does it -need- to be there? dont really know much about it.
  13. No offence to the sellers, but I wouldnt waste your time with this guy, nor ricknismos N1's. Asked em both for bank details to deposit the money and wouldnt sell. This guy had been waiting weeks to get the turbos back (dunno if he still hasnt yet), and ricknismo "wasnt sure" if he wanted to sell his. Just trying to save you some time.
  14. hehe, not a chance mate. If you buy the gtr core you will need all new piping, and prob cut a bit out of your front bar to fit it. a gtr core is about 600x300 big without endtanks I think, your gtst cooler is probably about the size of your mousepad, its alot smaller anyway and sits down the front passenger side, pop your head down and take a look.
  15. so would they be any good on a standard rb26 then? I want pretty good response with these turbos rather than topend
  16. ah k, thanks man appreciate it.
  17. Can anyone shed some light on these turbos for me? ive tried a few search on google but the best I could find were some Jap websites with the specs but not much else info. The serial number is 14411-RS580, which doesnt match up with any of the 32/33/34 series N1's so im thinking they may not be an "official" N1 turbo, yet judging from the specs are pretty similar. The Nismo Lemans turbos have the serial number 14411-RS581 so im guessing these are somewhere between some sort of N1 spec and lemans specs? What about effecient boost levels? ill be looking at running around 1.2/1.3bar so I hope they will be ok at these levels If anyone could shed some light on what the spoolup/response/topend power is like or anything else about them id grately appreciate it
  18. obviously its a repost, you dont have to have above average intelligence to figure it out.
  19. pretty sure they do, I had dumps changed at the same time but I could find out if your serious. Ive sent you a pm anyway
  20. you guys need to get over yourselves and the whole GTR craze. just because someone wants to put a GTR badge on their car (or leave it on since they bought it that way) is up to them and not upto you. Basically the way I see it is blatent dissrespect which to me isnt acceptable to anyones ride no matter what they have chosen to do with it, its up to THEM, not YOU. Im sure theres plenty of shit on your cars other people wouldnt like, yet they keep it to themselves, why dont some of you try practicing the same.
  21. why does it bother you if people want to pretend they own a GTR just because you own a real one? I think it more bruises your ego thinking your one of the few who own a genuine 33 GTR. I think to you the whole thing of owning a GTR is just bragging rights, at the end of the day its a car, nothing that special about it, quit complaning about what others want to do with theirs. And before you say anything I own a 33 GTR also for over a year, and I dont feel the need to run around telling everyone I own a GENUINE GTR!! NOT A FAKE!!!
  22. the end tanks are different to your gtr core so you would have to get a few new pipes done up, not the whole lot though. also being 100mm thick you might need to move/cut a few things to get it in there, but easily possible. I just bought the exact same core for my GTR. Does anyone know what these are rated to in reality? like max power youve seen someone do with one, I know they say 500-600hp but 100hp is a big gap so i think thats more of a guess.
  23. as the other fella said, its just the solenoid. dont worry, lets you know its working I barely even notice mine most of the time

if he had that much money and power hed be driving a GTR of some description, not a GTS you'll find people that brag about how much money they have usually dont have shit, or it doesnt last. No im not rich or powerful, im just a shitkicker
