  1. ... Rotary Ear Hair & Nose Trimmer ... ... especially for the discerning gent or lady struggling within the social confines of over producing ear & nasal follicles ... complete with handy clean up brush & blade protector ... nice ... ...
  2. ... yeah sorry bout that - not a real computer wizz - from where it does take you find "new south wales" and its in there ... cheers malcolm
  3. Click on link below for pics ... please post all questions / offers to this thread ... ... As previously mentioned this brochure was purchased approx. 5 years ago for $125.00 ... Terry Ashwood the owner of the R32 GT-R WINDFIELD RACE CAR believes that its current value taking into consideration its remarkable condition to be somewhere in the region of $180 to $250 ... i am open to any reasonable offer that reflects Terrys expertise & knowledge ... i am hoping that the brochure is purchased by an owner of an R32 GT-R but will part with it to anyone once an agreed figure is met ... ... link: R32 GT-R BROCHURE WITH SUPPLEMENTS - MINT ... cheers ... ...
  4. .... oops ! .... my apologies .... i thought it was in the wrong section as mentioned on my first post in this thread ... then promptly forgot about it ...
  5. ... hahah ... ... ... love these two ... ...
  6. .... um ? .... let me think about that for a second - "tick" - no ... it was bought 5 years ago for $125.00 ... i spoke to Terry Ashwood the owner for the Windfield R32 GT-R Race Car & he has suggested that as its complete with all 4 components and in the condition that is in it is worth somewhere between $180.00 & $250.00 ??!! .... i appreciate you getting the ball rolling ... ... but think im after someone to roll it a bit further ... cheers ... ...
  7. .... make that 4 young lives ! ... ...
  8. ... not too sure if you recall back in 2004 when a "P" plate driver got into his dads blue R34 GTR when his dad was overseas ... took his mate & his pregnant girlfriend for a spin down the street ... he managed to tear the entire car into 2 pieces ... which youd think would be quite difficult ... though very easy when you mix inexperience with big power ... they all died ... sadly ... ... amazing what you find in the cupboard ... ... ... journalists AMAZE me ... "he wasnt allowed to drive it" !!!?? ... clearly ! ... he must have picked it up & tore it in half with his bare hands ... what a very sad & pointless waste of 3 young lives ... just in case some people havnt seen this before ... the lesson is DONT allow your young sons & daughters to drive your high performance car when you head out or overseas & more importantly DONT leave the keys to it in the fruit bowl on the kitchen table ... ...
  9. .... the mighty micra ... ...
  10. .... nothing on it illegal ... even for a P plater ... ...
  11. Cool ... gis a buzz or text when you think youll be at the start of the F3 at Wahroonga ... ill look out for you ... 0414922209 ... ...
  12. I couldnt agree more with post above ... wait !!! ... these rules have been enforced because it was decided that "generally" there isnt a " P " plate driver alive with enough driving knowledge & experience to adequately handle & operate a motor vehicle of above average performance let alone one capable of being modified to deliver massive power to the rear wheels ... (some young drivers who have undertaken extensive & expensive advanced driver training exlcluded) ... these rules & regulations that have been adopted & passed as law since the recent influx of turbo charged cars have been especially put there for "P" platers not because the authorities hate you but because theyd actually like you to live long enough & gain the neccesary driving skills & confidence that can only be gained over time ... they also had the forsight to realise that these second hand R32 & R33 Skylines would soon dramatically drop in value making them easily affordable to "P" platers with little or no real driving experience ... ive had my drivers license for 32 years ... my car is close to 300kW at the rear wheels ... its NOT 4 wheel drive & has NO ABS ... its "practically" impossible to drive effectively in the rain or on a slippery surface ... the thought of a driver with little or no real experience getting into it on a rainy day makes it ever so clear to me why these laws have been passed ... not too sure if you recall back in 2004 when a "P" plate driver got into his dads blue R34 GTR when his dad was overseas ... took his mate & his pregnant girlfriend for a spin down the street ... he managed to tear the entire car into 2 pieces ... which youd think would be quite difficult ... though very easy when you mix inexperience with big power ... they all died ... sadly ... PLEASE wait & enjoy a non turbo car while you gain the experience to handle more challenges that a turbo will throw at you ... my daily driver is a Nissan Micra 4 cylinder 1275cc lowered / sports springs & shocks / bigger sway bars / extractors / 2 in straight through exhaust / high flow cat / cold air induction / pod filter ... unbeatable in the traffic ... 750KG ... power to weight ... AWESOME !!! ... sounds siiick too !! ... ... If i was making the decisions in relation to "P"platers driving turbo cars on limited budgets id make the minimum age 28 or 10 years driving experience ... ... All the money youll save in fines by abiding by the laws will pay for a fantastic NA sports car ... ... Cheers malcolm ... ...

  14. Great minds think alike ... BEST TRACK/RACE CAR crossed my mind too ... though i couldnt see how it would be judged ie: performance figures or set up or aesthetics ?! ... a must category to be considered ... ...
  15. hi i agree with you 100% ... of course the trophy awarded to the Audi was won fair & square under the categories offered ... what i am suggesting is that NEXT time there be a separate category for non skylines ... from what i can gather people would just prefer that their cars when judged are being compared to vehicles of the same make & model ... ... i do want non Skylines winning trophies ... in non Skyline categories ... ...
  16. Linton ... i love you ... (but not in that way) ... this topic isnt rocket science ... you are spot on ... thanks for backing it up with a common sense post ... cheers malcolm
  17. there's always one!!! To put it simply, i found out after the show the Club President chose my car for Best Exterior...so therefore you have a problem with it, take it up with him! Hi ... I dont have a problem with it at all ... & if you knew me you would know that i strongly work on principles based upon fairness ... you have completely misunderstood the post ... i am suggesting that because the same point is raised at every SnS regarding this we find a solution to stop the same point needing to be raised again ... as its a Skylines Show n Shine very simply have Skylines judged against other Skylines & non Skylines judged against other non Skylines ... thats not an unreasonable adjustment to make ... your car is amazing im not discounting that it is worthy of recognition & by changing the title of BEST SKYLINE EXTERIOR to BEST NON SKYLINE EXTERIOR would not have changed the result of your winning your trophy because you won the best exterior out of all of them anyway ... what this proposed solution is aiming to achieve is alleviate the need for anyone anytime to have a reasonable need to say anything about this again ... ... Put it this way ... youre at the Annual Audi Show n Shine with all your mates who have an obvious passion for Audis ... youve all worked hard at presenting your cars to look their best ... every one is very supportive of each other and deep down doesnt really care who wins what because there this "common bond" you share that is the passion built round the same thing - Audis ... then BEST EXTERIOR goes to an Enzo Ferrari & BEST IN SHOW a Porshe GT3 ... let the Ferrari take home BEST NON AUDI EXTERIOR & an Audi BEST AUDI EXTERIOR ... If this isnt a reasonable solution based upon fairness & equality to an ongoing question that will alleviate the need for anyone to have to ask the same question again then can someone please come up with another one ... ... To say "theres always one" is unnecesary in this instance as i am not participating or promoting "immoral or negative" behaviour in searching for a positive outcome. .... ...
  18. As i just said your replica MUST have the XY GT badges on it to be a replica XY GT. There is NOTHING wrong with badging a replica with the original factory badges. You are not making an original as that would be impossible because you would not the right chassis number nor engine block number so you could NEVER be accused of pretending to have one. As long as youre honest & say i have a REPLICA XY GT there is no problem. The only difference between an original and replica is when & where they were made and the ever important engine & chassis numbers. An authentic factory original must also have the matching engine & chassis numbers that were fitted to it in the factry the day it was built. If you have a factory original chassis & factory original engine block from two different factory original cars you DO NOT have an original factory car. Close but not close enough.
