Well I have the manual box etc all ready to go. Doing that in the next couple of months. My main worry is the fuel economy. Im getting 17/100 have changed o2 with no difference. So after the manual is in which ecu did you change to?

I have a series 1. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with changing the engine to a Neo with loom and ecu etc so it can be tuned without all of the piggy backs. Thanks. Justin

I should say that I have had it tuned. Its currently on 160 all wheels with a bit of a dip up higher as the power builds and the occasional boost cut on colder mornings. I will be converting to manual soon and will want to tune again after that. That's why I am asking for recommend tuners. Thanks guys

Just wanting to know what everyone thinks re order of works, brands and models etc. Like a menu reference for someone like me and others with a Stagea and new to modifying. I.e Fmic best suited. Safe boost for stock turbo. What larger turbo to use. Etc etc etc. But broken down into 1. 2. 3. With what other owners have done. Regards. Justin

Had my Series 1 for a month or so now. Just wondering whats the agreed pronunciation?

Changed o2 and cleaned AFM. Nothing still 17l per 100. Reset ecu. Mm could not notice any change but on the same tank of fuel disconnected boost gauge and teed in greedy boost controller of previous owner. That was taking vacuum from hose between plenum and fuel regulator. Connected boost sensor of hks evc to this line. Now all of a sudden fuel consumption drops to 14l. But had done some long freeway runs on that tank too. Will see on next tank fill. So I dont know if it was ecu reset or the mucking around with hose connections to the fuel regulator. Could long hoses teed off there be causing the fuel regulator to be increasing fuel use?

Do you reckon the price will come down with more? What state are you in?
