    thanks Chris. your new beast is looking the part as well mate. Love the colour scheme. I am taking mine to the first round of vic motorsport championship on the 1st at PI. cant wait. just bought a carbon front lip spoiler like your, and carbon N1 boot lip to go under the rear spolier.

    thanks Paul. the profile pic is a dog box I bought for the car. It has not been installed yet as I had to rebuild it...........its sitting at RPM. Yeah moving to PI was the best thing I have done in a long time. fly in fly out work makes it possible. Kids love it down there. Drive to the track no drama (less than 1km away).

    I will be attending the round one of the motorsport sprint on 1st February. Am I able to get one of the Club Reps to look over my 32 GTR and give me an indication of acceptability for club permit. Its currently on rally plates but I want to get off them as they are too restricted. cheers Ev

    Update well its been months but I finally got the car back just before XMAS. Got to do some test driving around phillip island streets over XMAS. Motor and suspension package all seem good. The new motor has plenty of torque. The car is handling well with the RPM Tein suspension. RPM set it up really well. photos to follow very soon.

    Time to re-start this thread from over a year ago. Is the skyline club going to offer CLUB REGO Plates next year for owners of the 1989 R32 GTR? I am keen to see this club do it, but will switch over to the Datsun club if nothing is going to happen. do any of the admin guys of the club have an update?

    Wrinkle paint is VHT paint cans. Engine going back into the car:

    VHT paint make the stuff. rattle can. hard to apply in the cold but when done right comes up great.
