  1. Whats the diff between xtr 3040,gt3040 or a hks 3040? Who is the best value for money?i mean which makes the most power for least money ratio? And Let me get this right... A gt35 is a 35 front and back? a gt 3040 is a 40 front 30 back ? So which is laggier like why doesnt it just cancel out and make the same power and lag?? All .82 rear housing.

  3. The pipe diameter on a gcg manifold is 38mm so slapping a 45mm wastegate on wouldnt help would it?? I havnt heard anyone else complain about there product??
  4. A road tune shits on a dyno tune anyway doesnt it? I only go on a dyno if i got a problem.

  9. Hi, I'm running a tial 38mm wastegate on gcg manifold with no boost control and a 12psi spring.It is venting straight to atmosphere with no pipe on it. I'm getting boost creep the higher the gear and the higher the revs the more the boost goes up. My mechanic reckons its cos my turbo is too small(,63 exhaust on t3/t4)and my system is so efficient that the little turbo just keeps boosting and if i had a bigger turbo with bigger exhaust side it would be able to control boost alot easier. Now before any of you laugh it off i am on full gate 12psi with 15 degrees timing before 3500 rpm.less lag than my gf's stock 33 without really trying. The car is light and has a very efficient inlet and exhaust tract,But i wanted a second opinion can anyone shed any light on this ? I want to go gt series turbo early next year anyway but i want to know i'll have stable boost before i slap on a gt 35 or something. Cheers.
  10. Hi all, I've got a 25 with top mount manifold running a t3/t4 which is supposed to be a 450hp turbo. Now my questions are as follows... If a turbo is rated at 450hp at 20psi what power in kw will it make at the wheels ? Which is the best turbo for a 25 as an upgrade out of gt30,gt35,gt3540 or gt3040. I dont want exessive lag so i was going for a .82 exhaust housing so i basically want to know which will go about making 300rwkw with the most bottom end to midrange on the least boost.(ideally 18psi) Thanks for any help.
  11. O.k well my car did do it and we fixed it by upping my fuel pressure. I dont think my pump is stock cos it has a fatter wire running to it than usual and it is noisy but i dont know.
  12. G'day,just after some info if anyone can help? What fuel pressure is ideal?(i run 30 at idle 42 on load and 22 when off)I have a fuel pressure reg. How do you know when your fuel pump is too small?Some tell me it wont hurt any thing it will just cut out and back fire others tell me it will lean your engine out. What is the max boost for a 25 with a medium to small turbo? Thanks alot team.

  14. Hi, I have an rb 25det which im hoping to make around 270kw at the wheels with and later on with bigger turbo and maybe a rebuild about 330kw at the wheels. My stock fuel pump is already out of flow and as this is my first nissan i was wondering what you guys would recommend as a good fuel pump for my application.What bosch do you recommend?What power is a gtr pump rated at? Thanks. P.S if it makes any difference to know i'm using blitz 700cc injectors and a malpassi fuel reg.
  15. Just had a wire in wolf 3d v4 plus installed on my rb25. Just wondering who in new south wales are the best to tune them. I dont want some rotory head tuning it. And were is a reputable place to buy an rb25det gear box. Thanks heaps. br SQC.

  21. I'm using a sub-zero fuel rail .... will the 13b injectors do the job for 280kw at the wheels??????
