Hey all,

Apart from the pinouts, what's the difference between a R33 GTST and R34 GTT ECU ?

If the pinouts were the same, would a R34 GTT ECU be able to run a R33 SII RB25 & anciliaries?

It was just an odd thought that popped into my twisted mind the other evening....

The R34 GTT ECU is quite different to the series 1 or 2 R33 ECU. Differences include a number of additional sensors (eg. boost sensor, cannister purge solenoid) and a variety of additional load sensing signals from things like stop lamp switch, rear defogger relay etc. I suspect the additional load sensing signals have an input into the idle logic.

The tacho drive signal is also different to the R33.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

umm completely different I think...because GTT has Neo....while GTST has lesser amount of the variable timing thingy...

so even if you can plug the ECU in I dun think it'll work properly...
