JimX
Isn't GTXT one grade below GTX2/GTX3? Personally I would run semi or full synthetic in my Skyline (actually, this is what I do ), especially with that hot turbo slowly cooking your oil between changes. If you have to run mineral oil then definitely change it every 5000km at least. hippy
well i asked the guy and he said it was fully synthetic ... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/11045-castrol-gtxt/#findComment-192695 Share on other sites
JimX
Hmm. I'm looking at Castrol's oil site and I can't find any GTXT. The closest I can find is GTX, which is the cheapest stuff they have. The synthetic stuff is Formula R. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/11045-castrol-gtxt/#findComment-195248 Share on other sites
T0nyGTSt
GTX2 and GTX3 are the closest and ok for a mineral grade oil. T. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/11045-castrol-gtxt/#findComment-195409 Share on other sites
hippy
this is what he said .. quote: "its on par with mobile 1" and he has a compliance workshop too ... and this is what he uses on all the cars he complies and works on ... i tend to trust the guy cause he seemed to know what he was talking about cause i was askin him about the oil... the cars running well ... can't see or hear anything wrong with it ...
