Hi Guys,

I have just imported a 1988 Silvia and believe I require an Engineer's Certificate (as opposed to full compliancing-as the car is over 15 years old) to register the car.

Can anyone tell me what exactly this involves???

(I have been told Child Restraints and Intrusion Bars are all that is needed)

Is it like getting a RWC-where you take the car to the Engineer, he tells you what it needs, you go away and get it all done, then re-present the car to the Engineer?

How much it is likely to cost?

And where I can get it done in Melbourne?

Cheers
