What's the best way to launch an auto with 206 kw on it?

put one of them high stall torque converters thingys ... makes it real easy ... or just hit the brakes ... rev up a little ... then let the brakes go and hit the shift button thingy and hope you don't spin out

gester...206 at the flywheel. My Gt t is stock standard with the 25DET NEO.

i tried that and it went well. left foot hard on the brakes. then i floored the right foot...at around 2500-3000 i let go. there was a bit of wheel spin but it's awesome!

A lot of WRXs keep bugging me on the streets. how do you think would a stocker do against one of those?

u get owned!!!! manual = 5000k + launch. most rex are manual.

u might have to investigate in simpler mods.

so what do u people reckon is the most u can launch at with that braking hard and then hitting the accelerator in autos?? without doing a massive burnout that is ..

3000rpm?? i've never tried up to that much ...

Trial and error, find somewhere nice and quiet away from suburbia and give it a go It doesn't really do the auto box any favours but it's effective.

try to spool up the turbo as high as u can.

i know someone with a 180SX auto and he could spool it up to 10psi on the brake.

the thing would launch hard and there wasnt much wheelspin.

he had a fair bit of power too, the thing wasnt stock.

how good is it for the tranny?? whats the likelihood that it will **** it up?? is it the same likelihood as if u were launching a munual??
