Reconnecting Standard Boost Solenoid.

can anyone tell me how to connect up the standard boost solenoid? I connected the wire harness, top pipe to wastegate and bottom to intercooler pipe. This was then running to much boost and was getting boost cut.

So I swapped them around. Still same thing. Can anyone tell me wat I am doing wrong?

bottom hose should join the hose going to the wastegate, via a t piece. the other hose should go to the plumback pipe.

there should be a hose going from the intercooler piping to the wastegate. if you have a front mount then it may be from the bov pipe to the wastegate. this hose needs to be connected, you just have to have a t piece in it and the solenoid connected to it.

I do have a front mount, so this is what i understand from what uv said. If my diagram is correct what happens to the top hose of the solenoid. Could you show me on the diagram or let me know if thats correct.

thats correct. the top hose doesn't go to the wastegate. it goes to the plumback pipe (the one that the dumped air from the bov goes to the intake through).

if you have a atmo bov then the pipe will still run to the intake. there will be a nipple it can connect to a few inches from where it joins the intake pipe.
