Hi peeps,

Though I'd just say hello,

I just bought my dream car, an R32 GTR and obviously am super happy. The engine is about a week from being finished with forged pistons, new Turbo's etc etc etc.

Just sent off my SUA QLD application form and am looking forward to plenty of fun experiences with you guys (and gals)

Bye for now........

Cheers

Tom Mac

They say you should NEVER photograph cars on grass.

Not sure about that, but I am sure I would like to own your great lookin GTR line! :D

AND you probably paid less for it than I did buying my GTS4! (8 Years ago;-)

The work is getting done at ASR Motorsport on the Gold Coast where I live. He's a guru ( and a freind ) who guarantees his engines. He's built plenty of RB26's that are solid.

I only paid $14000 for it which was a steal considering I nearly bought the first one I saw 3 months ago for $23000 with 170,000Km's.

When I bought it I knew it had a knock and needed a rebuild but I think the price reflected that.

News to date, the block now has a crack in it and my engineer won't gaurantee the motor unless I get another block so I've been desperatly trying to find an RB26 Block with Gurdle but I'm struggling. I searched thru the forums but am waiting on replies to my PM's.

Wish me luck....

Cheers

Tom Mac

    • That's all I needed mate thanks.  For context, we've seen a big number of old accounts being hacked into and then used to post spam. I was wondering if yours had also.  I've never had a good funnel. My driveway can attest to that. 😔
    • I am not a spammer ,, all I can say I have been member of the forum since a while ,,,,and as admin you can verify the time of registration I have 5 funnels none of them fit firmly. Similar thread was posted on the forum below but  it is US based : https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/no-more-spilled-oil-during-an-oil-change-spill-free-oil-funnel.26438/page-2
    • Your post has me puzzled. I have a lot of "spammer" warning signs flashing at me.  Are you honestly, truly, asking for our feedback on oil funnels? For 4 completely different cars?  They're 20 bucks! Just buy one and see!  Maybe I'm missing something?  My finger is hovering above the "flag as spammer" button... Convince me not to click it.
    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
