Need Help!

Ok, this is kinda hard to explain, but when i was driving along this arvo my car backed off as if i had taken my foot of the throttle but i didnt move my foot, so i put my foot down more n my car continued to decrease speed. It has done this a couple of times b4 but only for a second or 2, this time i actually had to change down gears!!

The car is a R33 GTS-t with zorst, pod, fmic, standard boost solinoid with "high boost mode". (earthed solinoid). Im also pretty sure the coils need replacing, not sure if this would have anything to do with it???

Possibly dry solder or poor conection on afm???

black smoke out the back when this happens would suggest coils

could be fuel pump related .. try the direct earth for the fuel pump .. there is a thread by Cubes about it in this section.

can be AFM related too

Cheers fellas, i will check out the AFM. I've heard it can be fuel pump or filter related. I didn't notice any black smoke!

if it doesn't fix it, then atleast you know these thingswont cause you issues in the future

I was only driving around 60km/h cruisin along, no acceleration really! Thanks heaps for your help craved!

Ive got an R32 but mine started doing that and it progressively got worse over about 2 months ended up replacing the AFM and has been fine ever since, its a very annoying problem as it can be so intermittent so its hard to diagnose.
