Blitz Sbc Boost Controller

Hi guys, i've got this EBC installed in my car. I'm just wondering for those who have it, how much GAIN did you set it to? For both street and drag street settings.

i would stick to what the manual suggests and set it to 5

Fair enough. One of my mates set his at 15 gain on his S15. I understand that gain is the 'amount of time' taken for the turbo to fully spool up. So if it is at 5, which is pretty low, it'll spool up real slow?

Not 'real' slow.... no, no slower than with just a wastegate. the gain is how long to hold the wastegate closed before letting it leak open...

The higher you set the gain, the more boost spike you will get, turn it up until you think its spiking to high then turn it back down until you're happy with it.

I had one of these in my old R33, if you set the gain too high and you for some reason get wheel spin (happen to me on the highway in the rain) the boost will spike. I had it set on about 1.3 Bar and it spike to 1.8 bar when the gain was on 45 (was testing). Anything above 25 in my old car cause a fairly larger spike ie, 0.2 bar or more in cetain conditions.

I'm setting it to 20 gain at the moment. It does feel it takes a shorter time to hit boost than when i set it to 5 like what the manual says. I think it spikes when the weather is really cold?

It will spike all the time, may spike a bit more when cold weather... just keep an eye on it.

mine use to spike real bad with wheel spin ... this normal?
