Bodykit Legalities

Anyone know the legalities of bodykits? Is it dependent on ground & wheel clearance? Is it illegal altogether? If so how do they classify wot is and isn't illegal as some cars come out std with a kit. eg. factory Nismo front bar on a R34

Umm.. may be more too it but mainly have to be 100mm from the ground.

It might help if you add your location to your profile, or at least tell people where you are, this sort of thing varies from state to state, so nobody can make a call on "what's legal" without knowing where you are.

yeah its either 100 or 110 when fully layden...ur main thing is getting a engineering certificate for the body kit.. any that u change is a defect to the cops

I've never heard of anyone ever having to get a body kit engineered.
