Tein Edfc

Hi guys hows it going.

I've been searching SAU for some time, did'nt want my 1st post to be asking for help. But what can you do?? haha

Well I got a set of Tein Flex with EDFC (2nd hand). That me and dead32 installed today now I get error codes for the front. I cheaked the contanuity for all wireing from the EDFC controller to the moters and its all ok.

Dose any one here know any tricks to setting the moters up or any thing (note: I dont have the origanal ajusters or manuall)

Check the plugs at the back of the edfc unit. That is a normal fault that causes errors

From Tein EDFC manual re error codes/trouble shooting:

LCD screen will tell you where the problem is

ER=right side

EL=left side

EE=both sides

If an error mark is displayed:

1. The wiring to the motor is disconnected.

-Find a damaged or disconnected motor cable and exchange or securely connect it.

2. The connector of the motor cable is not connected securely.

-Securely connect the connector

wiring Yellow=constant

Red=accessory

Green=illumination

Black=ground

don't know if that will help though
