i have a remapped ecu for sale. it will work in both series 1 and series 2 manual r33s (for those that think the series 2 have the ignitor built into the ecu, they don't). the person i bought it off had it in a series 1, and i had a series 2 motor in my car.

i tested the AFRs at 11psi on standard turbo, fuel system, with just a turbo back exhaust, pod and fmic. at full throttle they from 12.5 from about 3000rpm and slowly drop to 12.0 by about 3700rpm untill about 5500rpm when they start to drop to 11.4 by redline.

the ecu has had rich and retard removed, speed limiter removed and the rev limit raised to 7500rpm. i ran it in my 33 for about 8 months and never had any problems (on 14psi they go a lot harder than on 11psi despite what people say - most of them have never tried it and are only going off what other people have said). i never got to test the afr's at 14psi because the day i had a lend of a wideband o2 sensor the boost controller stuffed up and wouldn't let me go above 11psi. but when i pulled the spark plugs out after 6 months there was no sign of pinging or running lean at 14psi.

i was going to combine this with a safc to get perfect 12.0 afrs but never got around to it and no longer own the car.

asking $200 + $10 postage (or you can pick it up if you want).

didn't have it on the dyno. just had a lend of a microtec wideband o2 sensor. at the same boost level it made a slightly noticable difference, but the fact that you can wind the boost up means you can boost up to where you would normally hit r&r and then really have some fun.

hi am i right in assuming i could just replace my ecu (series 1 r33 gtst manual) with this ecu and achieve instant power gains over standard?

a small gain yes. i noticed a little bit of a gain. as for an exact figure i'm not sure as i never put it on the dyno with this ecu.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
