ive done some before on previous cars with cans lol actually came up good... i found its best to not pile it on and spray even layers and not let it run... i generally did it out in the sun so it could "bake" so to speak....

or i took some parts to Mal Gilbert Smash repairs i didnt find them too expensive and i was happy with what they did for me...

hmm, good idea about baking.. i painted my interier and that came up nice...

were abouts is mal gilbert?... when sanding this, is it just the same as sanding plastic interier parts, take of the paint and sand with like a 1200 grit till its smooth?.. thanx for the replies to :)

Hey there..

Its not as daunting as you think... and at least with a wing you can rip it off the car easy..

You will have to get the paint in a can ( spray can is fine.. cost a bit more per L but its easier for you) and also get it colour checked with your car..

get some primer ( prob only need 1 can)

Clear coat

Sandpaper ( super fine + fine + slightly coarse ) x 1 each

I can give ya a hand if you want. but it feels better when you do it yourself :)

Sandpaper x 3 pieces

1-2 Cans of Silver ( color coded)

1 Can Clear Cloat

1 Can Primer ( fibreglass)

also some kind of pepsol//grease remover is needed to.

Prob cost you around 100 bucks to get everything... But you would be left with most of a can of primer + clear coat ( for the next time you do some painting  )
