1 x greddy profec b II installed

Problem is i am still trying to set two boost levels and that which to keep them stable around there instead of bouncing back and forth. Boost up boost down.

The levels i would like to set are

1.2 bar or 16.5 to 17psi for high boost

and .85bar or around 9-10 psi low boost

Turbo= hks 3037pro s Internal Gated.

If someone could help me out on what settings they have used to gain stable boost aswell as there desired boost level that may help me out in getting these achievements that would be excellent.

Cheers in advance

Adam

basically you have to do some trial and error

1st set the warning high enough to not interfere with boost

then increase the boost in incriments of 5% and look at your gauge and stop increasing when your near your target and increase by 1% from there.

Then once you have done that for hi and low see if boost starts dropping of in higher revs, if it does start increasing the gain untill is stops dropping off. again do that for hi and low..

then go put it on a dyno and make sure your afrs are ok. hopefully its not too late.

Same problem with profec BspecII on my car: 33 gts-t with very minor mods, can anyone help out with appropriate gain and start boost settings to stop the fluctuation or is this just the limiter backing things off??

AFRS will be ok just as its tuned upto 18psi anyway

will see how i go, i was hoping that if someone was/had tuned theres for around those values they may be able to get me started cheers

Hi Adam,I have 220kw with my Profec spec 11 so will try to help.

Hi boost-17lbs

Set boost-53%

Gain- 15

Set gain-12.0lbs

Warning-19.0lb

Warning low-20%

LOW BOOST=12lbs

Set boost-25%

Gain -15

Set gain-7.0lbs

Warning-13.0lbs

Warning low-15%

Hope this helps.I get no spiking and boost comes on early. If you have a rough idea when boost should start with your setup it would help.If you use the last boost function to see real boost and compare it to the peak boost you will see if your spiking.Turn your set gain to zero while doing this as it is the last thing you set.Use third gear for your power runs as obviously you will be wearing out tyres very quickly. You should be aiming for a GAIN target where boost is coming on but if you turn it any higher it makes no difference. If boost then seems to drop off at high revs then turn it up 1% and so on and so on.Any probs just PM or call 0412662337.I`ll try to save you the hour of dyno time I spent getting it right.

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
