Just taken delivery of a low klm 2003 model, does all I want at this point.

Couple of things I want to fix is the 'TV' & Navigation system for Australian use, can get audio of channel seven, no picture though. Second thing is cruise control, needed badly. Anyone in Perth able to help? :(

Good luck on the Sat Nav, there's been plenty of discussion on the forums about this and to date no one has got it working or has a solution.

Bottom line is that it will much much cheaper to fit something aftermarket.

Oh, and search is your friend :-)

As NISMO said, Forget about the TV&NAV there is no cheap and "good" Ways to make them work in here.

If you want the TV works YOu need to install a NTSC to PAL conversion-box which is about AMP size.

Check out the post in this form .Everything already get a answer.

Cheers

I'm actually at the point where I was going to get a Premium 350GT but now I'm looking at a non premium. the extra money is not worth it when you can't use the sat nav/tv without modification. Leather would be great, but I can get the car trimmed the same here and still be infront.

The only must have's I'm no looking for are Brembo's and 6pd. Anything else I'm not fussed about. I was looking for a black one, but again, the extra thousands is not worth it.

Just my opinion anyway.

Counldn't be more agree.

The only thing that Premium added that worth to keep is the dual zone air-con.

May be the BOSE system worth some money but a lot of owners prepare to get the aftermarket units.

About the black ones, if only 1000 dollars more I would like to get one, otherwise just get a silver and repaint it 2 years later.(in fact the black unit unusally cost 2-3 thousands dollars more)

Yep, heard the same about the BOSE, which is why I would like it, but it's off my list too.

If I find a nice premium car at a good price, I'll go for it, but I'm not set on getting one, because it's simply not worth it, and the money can go towards a HKS Hi Power dual exhaust.

check em out if you haven't already.

Go to www.youtube.com and search for G35 HKS exhaust.

They sound amazing!

I listen to that sound at least once a night. My wife and kids think I'm nuts. :-)

Not Cheap, in the US they are selling them for around $1200 US, but I'm hoping if i get the car at a good price i can get it fitted in Japan, and cut out middle men and shipping here to Aus.

Can't actually find anyone in Aus who has them, and places like Nengun don't bring in exhausts.

Hopfully it willnot bring any trouble to the compliance:)

Jash at C-Red has about six full Borla Exhaust Systems for the CPV35 and PV35 in stock along with other bits for them.

Also on the stereo you can get the Double Din conversion unit out of Japan if not happy with your JDM stereo.

Full leather is light Tan only and Black is Leather/Velour, late model Manuals had Brembo's as an option only.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
