Ticking Sound From Boost Controller When On

last weekend me and my mates installed the GREDDY PROFEC E-01 ELECTRONIC BOOST CONTROLLER, didnt notice anything wrong with it till i drove it a couple of times and i started to hear a ticking sound from the engine bay turbo side, i turn off the boost controller and the ticking sound is gone when i turn it back on its boost no problem but there is a ticking soundgets louder when the boost builds up has any one had the same problem with this boost controller if so how did ya fix it and is this causing and permant damage at all to the boost controller

It's normal

Try placing some rubber sheet between the solinoid unit and the car's panel.

Having the same problem with my Apexi AVC-R...How come it makes the ticking noise only when the boost controller is on????? Anyone know?

Bolting a buzzing solenoid to chassis will make it fairly audible, yes.

Take note how manufactures mount them, and how loud the buzzer on a security door is, when its activated... they are effectively transducers
