Size Of Headlight Globes For Series 2 R33

also was wondering if 100W xenons would melt the headlight lenses? Are they too high? and what is the limit on the temperature on them for a s2 r33?

I just found a 100W globe in amongst the many globes i have on my desk for some reason... (helping SOMEONE ) so that most likely means that i have at least 1 100W globe in the car... Haven't had a problem with it so far, but it may be for high beam, which wouldn't be on for that long...

I think you will be alright.. theres a barrier between the globe and the outside plastic... it is either very heavy duty plastic or cheap glass... it shouldn't melt...

settled down for a h1 55W artic blue one by navra... seems pretty good... as white and bright as i wanted it to be. and from a distance it looks bright but not blinding

I recently found that my fancy smancy headlights (cool blue coloured ones) were losing a lot of their whiteness... i took them out to find that either: 1. what ever they used to coat the glass in, had burnt, or 2. the glass itself had burnt... which means it wasn't putting out very good light at all...

luckily i had some spares lieing around... but that was about a years use... maybe... i thought they would last longer...
