There is a hole in the floor pan for the cable, but it has a little metal plate tack welded on (i managed to twist it off with pliers/screwdriver). The plate is sealed up with a big chuck of some plastic sealant stuff.

Use an R32 handbrake lever.

Unfortunately it isn't the same as the skyline console, though I have seen photos/heard people using skyline (r32 and R33) center consoles to surround the handbrake.

I'd suggest using a cefiro/laurel console otherwise you'll have to modify the skyline one to make it fit.

parts for 5stud conversion and brake upgrade (not sure if ur doing this part but i dont know why you wouldnt). This is what i did but other combos have been used.

Brake Master Cylinder BM44 off r32 gtst skyline

s14 front hubs and Lower control arms

front r33 gtst calipers and discs

Rear r33 hubs and discs and calipers.

Swap the a31 handbrake cable over in the hubs as the r33 is too long. The handbrake drum setup are exactly the same.

also look at getting new brake lines from the arch to the caliper all round as the r33 ones work but dont hook up to things the same way as the originals so will wear alot more.

cheers

5 stud wheels

If money is tight, you can use R32 hubs/brakes on the rear (again use the A31 handbrake cables), and R32/S14 calipers/discs on the front S14 hubs.

Though I would recommend using the R33 brakes considering the weight of the Cefiro.

Auto console won't fit a manual handbrake lever unfortunately, you'll have to do a bit of hunting for a manual one.

As for seatbelts, I've heard maxima belts fit (read the parts compatibility guide topic).

I had a factory Auto with footbrake, converted to manual, but the center console, now with a handbrake has the 2 switches, "Power/Hold" and Electric Arial. I think you might be ok as long as you haven't bid on a console with the footbrake release.

The manual console has space for two switches on it, normally one would be for the aerial and the other would be blanked off.

Mine was missing the blank, so I filled it with the power/hold switch from when I had the auto.

I tried hacking mine to make it fit, you have to cut a fair bit. You can do it, but it's not very stylish.

yeah but i spose it beats havin an exposed tunnel unless i get one of those stylish hydraulic handrakes that my boss pointed out today

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
