Swap Gtr Box To Gtst Box

hey everyone as the topic states is it possible to get rid of the transfer case on a gtr box and swap it with a rb25det 5 speed rear ?

Have heard of the GTR box having the transfer case removed and fitted into RWD cars behind RB26's.

I don't understand what you want to do? AFAIK they are the same gearsets, so if you have a shagged 25 box and a good 26 box, could you not swap the gearsets over?

yeah thats what i want to do just get rid of the transfer case making it a rb25det box i think it might be easier than swapping gearsets ive heard of it being done before but i searched for another thread with some info but didnt have any luck
