hey guy's here some pics i said i would post of my new 1995 Series 1 Skyline GTS-4 with 28,000 genuine Kilometers . I've recently got 18" Dished Shadow Chrome rims running (225) Front and (235) Rear on 7.5" Rims. Fits in well and looks tuff. I went down to JustJap and bought a Strut Brace (Front) and Engine Dampner, which really trasfers the power to wheels engine doesn't even move even at full revs . Car is Midnight Blue which is rare color i believe but otherwise just stock..

yeh man thats for comments! its mad i love it !! killed the clutch on sunday !! so yeh need $1,500 for a new Button Clutch+Labour so yeh its off the road until next year coz thats how long till i save up!!! .. and yeh i was going to buy headers seeing you say they shuld fit!

for a car thats 12 years old, the condition its in is outstanding.

i'm beginning to wonder though, do you even have a manual licence? to burn the clutch out of a (non-turbo skyline) car thats only done 28500K's, my bet is driver fault over car weakness.

i just get curious about things.

Get an organic.. you dont need the clamping force of a button on an NA and their a SL** to drive!

and their cheaper.

=]

agreed, how did u wreck a clutch on a NA thats done only 28,000k's it only been worn in!! anyhow i agree once again with GTS4WD that an organic is the best option for the car, unless ur going to be doing conversion to turbo..

hame

depends how hard he was on it, a few rev limter launches and that clutch will start to feel soft, remember the weak point isnt the tyres like in a rwd its the clutch and this thing is just gonna grip and go

looks nice and neat, get some nice shocks (coilovers if your can afford it) and the thing will handle like a train on rails.

Thats true.. things like clutches, gearboxes and diff's are always the first do go in AWD's.. its a little bit different cos its a GTS4.. but the clutch still will be first to do..

Put in a brass button.. its gonna clamp on like a crack whore to her dealer.. but then wave bye bye to your gear box/dif/driveshafts..

im not to sure about the km's

someone told me that if they km's were genuwine that all the numbers would line up the odometre the numbers are crooked.

i dont know, but mine is a 94 r33 and it has 54thous on the clock and i highly doubt that is legit

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
