I Need Help

hi guys

I have a 1998 R34 and i have a problem there is an A/T light located just below the check engine light i dont have a clue wat it is but when its on i lose all my power also the car is shuttering and the engine light is on does anyone have any ideas on wat the problem could be. hope someone can help me . thanks

wat sort of mods do u have is it an auto/manual. is it an intermitent problem or all the time. mite help sum guys on here help u with the prob

no mods yet its auto and it only comes on sometimes

A/T light located under the check engine light

The A/T light comes on and the car loser power has anyone had this problem before

check engine light

And the car shutters wen the engine light comes on i was told it was a crank angle sensor and they replace it im thinking its the coils.

the onlything i can think of at the moment is the fluid in the auto beign low. Check the levels and c if they r on the mark. otherwise ring round a few places and c wat they reckon

i have checked the fluid and thet seems fine maybe i mght change the gearbox oil and see wat happens.

i have disconnected the battery and now the A/T light hasnt stayed on hopefully it wont havent driven it yet,

have had it happen to me once or twice just driving along and noticed that it won't change to 4th even if you put it in tiptronic so i just pulled over turned the car off and on again and it was fine a/t light went away and changed gears fine. So i thought the computer just had a hiccup. i thought that was a gearbox warning light. it has the same letter on the traction control button says A/T snow on mine might have something to do with that?

yeah maybe cos it feels like its taking off in second maybe very sluggish
